In the summer months enjoy the large patio by the barn, sand box for kids, and barleans bar (coming soon!!) for adults on the property. Great for campfires and grill outs. Numerous amenities. Okoboji Review
We had a great time at the cabin and loved the set up with the fireplace for a nice relaxing weekend. The house was really quiet and I loved the walking trail to be able to walk our dogs easily. Definitely a good stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy little home, super cute and clean, great location for access to the lakes. Bonus was walking trail behind the house which led to an awesome little ice cream place by the lake!

Nice Cabin
This was a great place to call “home” for a few days. Everything was just as described on the listing. We were so glad we could bring our little dog with us. He, along with us enjoyed the great walking trail right behind the cabin. We would definitely stay here again!!

Great memories were made. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your nice property. The only thing id reccomend is the couch pull outs need to be fixed by only staying 2 nights it was doable. Nice quiet neighborhood and right on the bike path.

Perfect, peaceful spot
Great find! Adorable cabin with everything and anything you need. The location, charm and quiet spot near Spirit Lake is a short distance to the touristy Okoboji. Even the pull out couches are super comfy to sleep on! Be sure to check out the ice cream shop on the trail for the best chocolate shakes too. We would definitely stay here again!

I very much enjoyed my stay in Orleans. I was in town for an event and wanted to bring my pups along. This provided for the perfect getaway from the cold. It is a cute and updated space and the owners were great at communicating and being flexible.

Big Spirit Cottage
Great location for what we needed the cabin for, fishing on Big Spirit. Cute little place for our size family we had. Comfortable setting with warm, soft blankets and toys to keep the kids entertained and DVD galore to choose from. We had a great time! And thank you for the hot chocolate for the kids, that was their favorite! :)

Wonderful Couple’s Nest
We spent 4 nights. The bicycle trail in the backyard was awesome. I am an early riser, I was able to log some steps while my wife slept and got her first cup of coffee. The lake views (2 within walking distance) were much better than my neighborhood traffic filled walks at home. Too far from the kids and grandkids for long term, but a great oasis for getaways!

Spirit lake family weekend
House was exactly as advertised, the addresses to the property was advertised in Spirit Lake but was located in Orleans. We struggled to find the correct address when we 1st arrived. Beds were comfortable and place was very nice stayed there with my husband 8, 10 and 12 year old kids. Spent most of our time in okaboji. The kids loved Arnold's Park. Make sure to take pictures of the property before you leave and also when you get there to assure they dont charge you for extra fees after you stay. As thats what happened to us. Maybe document your whole stay just to verify u did nothing wrong. We were charged damaging fees for some scratches that they said we did to some table. So just be aware. Other than that it was great. Won't be staying there again though.
