"Wow—what can I say (or not say!) about Hotel Teresa? Our room was on the top floor with a massive sun deck, complete with lounge chairs and a table for outdoor dining—though we didn’t use it much because there were so many great food options along the port! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm smile and a genuine “welcome home.” Being Easter weekend, the island was buzzing, which only added to the experience. The port was alive with energy—church bells echoed across town, families gathered in cafes, and everyone seemed to be in great spirits. On Easter night, the sky lit up with fireworks, making the celebration feel even more magical. The photos online don’t do this beautifully restored gem any justice. You won’t be disappointed staying here. The room had everything: a Nespresso machine, tea kettle, mini fridge, and plenty of complimentary water and coffee pods. I loved the old French château vibe—it truly felt like stepping back in time. They just don’t make places like this anymore. Go see it for yourself—I highly recommend it. "OMG. Where to start? 3 minute walk from ferry port. Staff super sweet, welcoming and attentive. The rooms were impecable, complete amenities, rooms had aesthetic/romantic vibes with views to the pool and multiple courtyards. The breakfast was out of this world. DO NO STAY ONLY ONE NIGHT*** This place is totally worth experiencing for at least 2 nights. No AC unit, just heating available. We were there during the spring and it go pretty cold early in the morning. Mini fridge in room. Water can get super hot. They greeted us with a house made lemonade with some ginger and cucumber. We truly had a magical time during our stay. Super quiet and tranquil. "

"Great boutique hotel (family owned & operated) a relative short walk (but up hill) from the ferry port and shops & restaurants. The hotel has a great old world Greek vibe with a very friendly snd helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again if I ever visit Hydra again. "

"Great view over the sea, but also over the major road so it is noisy at the front. There is no breakfast and no reception so visitors have to contact the Alasia travel agency who are lovely people. A convenient location for the sights and for the ferries/hydrofoils. "

"All the staff were so lovely and welcoming! I would highly recommend staying here if you’re a solo traveller like myself. Love that they provide breakfast as well all freshly made everyday! I will definitely come and stay again when I’m back in Spetses! "
