"It was an incredible experience to live alone in an abandoned village in Mani. You feel far away from everything and it is a nice feeling. The nearest beach is about 25 minutes driving. The house is always fresh downstairs in the main bedroom. For the persons who like to hike, unfortunately, a fire occured in august 2021 so it is not very pleasant to walk in the countryside around. "This was a wonderful experience. The property sits above the town of kiviri. The beach is a downhill walk, so we drove down so as not to walk back uphill. There is parking on site. The owner is wonderfully responsive as we learned when we locked ourselves out! There are restaurants in close proximity. The city of Nafplio is a 20 minute drive. "Excellent host, property, and location to explore lots of area...something for everyone. Privacy was always respected and the house was very clean and well equipped. Sonia is an excellent host with lots of information for you see/do in the area. Pool was fantastic as the Greece heatwave was too much to go exploring, some days, and was a nice way to keep cool and have some relaxing days in."
