The finish is excellent as the hotel has recently been refurbished. My room was a single but very attractively furnished with a lovely view over delightful grounds and pristine en suite. Highly recommended. "

"The Royal Seven Stars just oozes history and character. It is just delightful and located right in the middle of the glorious town of Totnes. The staff are all warm, friendly and helpful. We had a lovely dinner with the extra treat of excellent live music. Great atmosphere in the bar, obviously popular with visitors and locals alike. Our room was really comfortable. We had searched for somewhere doggy friendly, but did expect so many facilities in the room just for our little dog. She was really spoilt, thank you."

"Great service from staff and great facilities. We especially enjoyed the spa and our very comfortable stable room on the upper floor of the hotel with lovely courtyard view. It was my birthday treat and Borringdon even had a card and miniature bottle of gin as a welcome gesture, which was much appreciated."
