"The cabin is situated in the grounds of the manor house that once belonged to the author Laurence Durell. The hostess is amazing and cannot do enough to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Walk out of the secure grounds and you are in the old town of Sommieres, with its numerous restaurants and bars . This place could not score higher if you want a base to explore the area."

"Gorgeous, bijou stone cottage full of charm within walking distance of Uzès. Outside sitting areas in a beautiful garden and shared use of pool with main, larger rental property. We were lucky that no one was renting the larger property during most of our stay but be aware that it's very close to it and no physical division so wouldn't be very private when otbers are there. I'd definitely come back."

"What a wonderful spot to relax and unwind. Easily accessible from main routes but nonetheless utterly tranquil. Dark skies at night, wonderful fresh bright mornings and lazy afternoons by the pool. Nick and Jenny are delightful hosts and we won’t hesitate to return. "

The guests from another appartment at the property share the entrance, you are therefore outside not totally privat, but inside the house you are . We would highly recommend this beautiful place!"

"The owner was very gracious & welcoming. This home has great spaces & is very well stocked with kitchen equipment. The village is quaint & is a great base x nearby attractions. It was a little confusing finding the home but rewarding to find it tucked just off a main road. Definitely a great place to enjoy family & unwind."

"We (2 adults, 1 child) stayed at the Gite d’Emma for a very hot week in August. The gite is very modern and very well equipped with everything you could need. The air conditioning unit was incredible and much needed - and kept everyone cool during the heat. The outdoor kitchen is fabulous as is the balcony with beautiful views. "De ontvangst was hartelijk, het verblijf schoon en compleet. We hebben meteen kunnen afkoelen in het fijne zwembad. We hebben ons hier thuis kunnen voelen. De uitbaters doen een voortreffelijke job, niets is te veel, altijd vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We hebben een hele fijne vakantie gehad!"

"Een heerlijk verblijf in het huis van Patrick en Yvonne. Ze hebben ons goed verwelkomd en wisten ons nuttige tips te geven. De keuken is wat verouderd maar geeft zeker geen beperkingen. Het huis is koel, eventueel kan de airco ook aan. Dat was niet altijd nodig ofschoon we er midden in de hete weken waren. De badkamer is zeer comfortabel, een heerlijke doche!
