"Checking in was the weirdest most un-hotel like experience I have ever experienced. The restaurant next door was kind enough to watch my car and belongings to check in . There’s no place to pull over and do so . Very bizarre and stressful after a long day on the road . And ,again , the folks working the restaurant next door went out of there way to help my 10 year old and I around ! Very friendly , helpful locals but totally useless help once we got inside . You are on your own from the moment you decide to stay here . We lugged our luggage across a hot steaming parking garage , across the casino floor and then finally to our elevator . No one is there to help you . All of arrival is super awkward , makes no sense and is frustrating when all you want to do is check in and plan to eat !! lol but that was the best part . The steakhouse was great . The staff were wonderful and if it hadn’t been for them , we would’ve had a terrible visit in old Springfield . Just to be honest !"

"Nice location downtown, a short walk to museums and restaurants. Comfy beds. Very clean. About a 10 minute drive to Forest Park which has many walking trails. "

"We had a flight delay and needed to stay overnight. We booked last minute, but they were very accommodating. There's a shuttle to and from our airport with no issues. Staff was very friendly. Overall great experience. Would highly recommend. "
