Sweet Southwest Stay
A nice, clean, convenient home base for island exploring! It took us some trial and error for us to get the pellet stove to warm the home and run through the night, but once we got the hang of it we had a lovely stay.

Acadia dreaming
Place was exactly as advertised. My wife and I , and three adult sons had a great time in Acadia, using the Southwest harbor hub as our home base. Our sons did long runs from the house to near by trails. Games available were a nice way to relax at night. Bar Harvor was great, but we were happy to be away from all the crowds. You are only 20+ :-minutes from all Acadia Attr actions

Very nice place
My friends, my dog and I stayed here for two nights, and we loved it. The house was very clean and nicely decorated with comfortable furniture and beds. My dog enjoyed the fenced in yard, and we were impressed by everything that was provided by the host- towels and travel shampoo and conditioner, lots of board games, coffee and tea, etc. It was a very nice place to come back to and relax after spending time in Acadia, and felt like a home away from home. In addition, I was very grateful to the host for providing thorough and helpful information for check in and check out without being overwhelming, making for a very stress-free stay.

Perfect spot for exploring
Two families stayed and explored Mt. Desert Island. The kids loved the upstairs space and the adults had plenty of space downstairs. It was great to be able to come home at the end of the day and unwind and cook some food. Everything worked with this house and would recommend to anyone who is traveling to the area and doesn’t need to be in the bustle of Bar Harbor.

Great long weekend on MDI
We had a wonderful time exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor as well as Southwest Harbor. The accommodations were terrific, quiet and comfortable with good access to all that the area has to offer.

Great Property
We had a family trip to Acadia National Park Aug 2024 & had a wonderful stay here. This property was well maintained, clean and decorated well. It was exactly like listing. We were provided linens, towels, toiletries & kitchen was well supplied. It takes about 20 mins to get to Bar Harbor and/or Acadia Natl Park. The cottage had an info folder (very hrlpdul). Echo Lake is very clise (must go)! We had a wonderful time & this Acadia house was bery nice. We had plenty of room for everyone. We will come back again. Thank you!

Home was very convenient to Acadia and Bar Harbor. We had everything we needed. When we went to pack we had pet hair on our luggage from the bedroom floor. Other than that it was perfect! We would rent again.

Great location for Acadia
This was a great house that fit all 5 of us and our dog (3 adult children). Everyone had their own space. The location was great for hiking.
