"Easy check-in, good parking facilities, nice room with view of cathedral, friendly staff & nice breakfast. Was only a quick overnight stay, but met all our requirements and would use again in the future."

"We have stayed here a few times now. The redecorated rooms are absolutely lovely. The staff, so polite. The spa, perfect for some down time. Highly recommended. The only thing I would change, is the menu. It would be nice to see more fine dining menu, rather than a typical pub meal. Although, the food was very nice. A perfect cooked steak. Thank you for your hospitality"

"Our first visit for a wedding. Booked classic room with breakfast. Room was spacious and lovely and warm. Hospitality tray included tea, coffee, hot chocolate and packs of biscuits. Bathroom very clean and looked modern. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Will visit again in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor area by the river. Thoroughly recommend this hotel."
