Drop your keys on Boddington the Butler's tray (!), and head to the deck to unwind in comfort while you enjoy the view of pretty South Harbor Marina, ( managed by Safe Harbor, you may contact them for information on slip rental, and help with trailer storage).

The beaches of Oak Island are just a short drive over the ICW. (3.2 miles to Oak Island Pier). Par 3 Golf is available less than a mile away, and Oak Island Golf is just 3 miles, by Caswell Beach.

There are many area restaurants, but the condo is located next door to the very highly rated restaurant, Joseph's Italian Bistro. Rusty Hooks Dockside Grill is a 2 minute stroll, with sunset views from their expanded deck and Tiki Bar.
A 6 mile drive takes you to historic downtown Southport, where you can amble through the many Boutiques & Antique Shops, Southport Market, Bakeries, Craft Beer and Wine Bars. Visit the Maritime Museum, or lounge in a swing chair on the lawn while watching the Cape Fear River boat traffic. Take a sunset cruise...highly recommended, and maybe a Ghost Tour in Southport!
If you are a thrill seeker, you might be tempted to try a skydive experience, which is available 5 minutes away. Rental options for boats, bikes and kayaks are also nearby.

Weekend getaway.
The property was amazing! It was very clean and just as listed. Joseph’s Italian bistro next door was wonderful. Amazing views and easy check in -out process just rounded out our trip. We will definitely be back to visit.

Immaculate condo on the marina. Beautifully appointed. Well stocked. Wonderful views and cozy porch overlooking the water. Comfy bed! Host was so easy to work with and very welcoming. Two restaurants next door and both were delicious. Without question, would stay again!

Relaxing View
A great weekend getaway with such a relaxing view from the patio and a great space inside too. We walked to dinner two nights and both restaurants were very good. Rusty Hook sitting at the tiki bar with a sunset view was my favorite. Such a close drive to Caswell and Oak Island beaches. We enjoyed exploring Southport. The host was wonderful! We have another stay booked in a few weeks. Next time we hope to take the ferry over to Bald Head island for a little day trip.

My Dream Condo
This condo is wonderful. I went for a business/relocation trip and wanted somewhere that felt like a home. Gemma has thought of everything someone would need to be comfortable.. including a tea kettle, which I told her was a nice surprise. The location is a dream, right on the marina. The beach decor was just right and everything was clean and tidy. Wish I could live there forever.

Perfect in every way!
Gemma’s place is adorable with perfect views. The decor is super cute and cozy. The front patio has ample comfy seating. Location is in close proximity to anything you need or want to do. There are 2 restaurants on site, one right next door and one just a few steps away. This one is on my list for future stays!!!

Amazing Location!
Condo was perfectly located on the marina! We sat on the covered deck each night watching the boats come and go while the sun was setting. Even though a restaurant is right next door, it was surprisingly quiet and incredibly convenient! The food at Joseph’s was excellent and a highlight of the trip! We were within a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Southport and all it offers. We will definitely stay here again :)

Our stay was nothing short of perfect. The condo was absolutely amazing - clean, organized, and fully stocked. The added touch of walking in and having the cutest little welcome gift with items from Southport was really the cherry on top. Gemma has truly thought of everything and we did not want to leave. Coastal retreat
Me and the wife absolutely enjoyed the condo especially with the back deck Marina View! Literally one door over from an excellent Italian restaurant called Joseph's Bistro. Walkable 2 minute distance to Rusty hooks at the end of the marina which also has a tiki bar outside! Gemma is an excellent host and answers you right away as needed, and she personalizes your stay which is a Special Touch. Would definitely stay again!

This property overlooks a peaceful harbor which can be vierwed from a covered porch furnished with comfortable chairs and a dining set. The apartment was spotless and the owner made sure that everything a renter could need was available. The linens, towels, toiletries and bedding were all top notch. The kitchen was well equipped.The location is excellent, close to the beach and Southport. The restaurants nearby are serve delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Gemma!

Perfect Couple getaway!
Although it was a quick trip, the amenities were top notch, the bed was comfortable, and the views are amazing! We were within walking distance of everything we needed…dinner leftovers for breakfast from the two restaurants within easy walking distance. Joseph’s Italian is literally next door. 1 hour wait, but we put our names in and went back to the condo and chilled out until our table was ready! We’ll be back!

Perfect anniversary getaway
My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here! It was right on the marina so it was not super busy/ loud. Only 5 min drive to the beach which was amazing. The condo is super clean and fells like you’re staying in a nice hotel. Absolutely no complaints, we will definitely be staying here again! Gemma was a great host, she even had little bottles of champagne for us in the fridge for our 1st anniversary. She provided beach towels, a list of great restaurants in town (with menus)and other fun things to do in the area! She even had a little goodie back and a sweet note waiting for us on the counter.

Crisp marsh views
This location was great for a quick trip to meet up with local friends. The rental was very clean and had everything we needed. The views of the marina were nice and peaceful in the morning and late evening when we had down time. Coffee provided with the keurig made our porch time. A short walk to Rusty Hook for quick quality seafood and drinks. We didn’t try Joseph’s next door but the smells made us wish we had! Will be keeping this as a favorite for stays in the future. Will mention there is minimal storage if planning on longer stays, but a non issue for us.

Awesome!
I have been back twice in 3 months! Love this place- so well decorated, quaint, quiet and close to everything in New Bern, Beaufort, MC, Altantic Beach, EI and Swansboro. This is one of my favorite areas at the coast in NC so this is a total gem of a find. Getting up early for coffee on the deck or having one before bed is perfect here. No hussle and bussle of the beaches-just quiet so you can hear yourself think. Close to anything you need and basically newly remodled and wonderful inside. Perfect for 2 and a simple getaway. My new home away from home! Love it! Perfect!

Fantastic!
My bride and I booked this for a long weekend to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary and could not have picked a better place. First of all, communication with Gemma (host) was prompt and easy, and upon arriving, we found the condo spotlessly clean. Bed linens and towels were top notch, and all furnishings were very nice, with everything we needed. The best part of all though, at least to us, was the wonderful porch overlooking the marina. We spent a LOT of time on the porch enjoying the coastal breeze and watchin boatsx come and go. Caswell Beach (free parking) is less than 10 minutes away and we also enjoyed many of the area restaurants, especially the Rusty Hook, which is a 3 minute walk from the condo. The Southport waterfront, shops and restaurants are also very nice. Overall, an excellent getaway experience!

Perfect!
Perfect! My husband and I decided on a last minute trip to the beach and were so lucky to find this condo. Exactly as listed - very clean, beautifully maintained, nice comfy bed and perfectly located between Oak Island and Southport. Even with our last minute request, the owner was responsive and helpful and check in was a breeze. The outside back deck has a pretty view of the marina and is a relaxing spot for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Even with all the boats, the marina was quiet. The patio furniture is clean and comfy, which is a plus. Joseph's restaurant is right next door - consider ordering take out and enjoy your meal back on the condo patio. We already had plans for dinner in Southport but came back and had drinks and watched the boats. The condo has everything that is needed for an easy, enjoyable trip to the beach. We look forward to coming back again.

Well appointed house!
The house was very comfortable and had a lot of fun coastal accents. I gave it 4 stars for location because the next porch to mine was the outdoor seating for an Italian restaurant. Fortunately, it closed at 9:00 pm, so noise wasn’t really an issue. Gemma was a wonderful host and provided all the necessary informations for a hassle- free stay!stay.issue
