"We stay in rental all the time. This was definitely the worst that we have ever seen. There was no booklet of information left to give you instructions for the house. There were no labels on switches, instructions on how to use the fireplace, photograph of the supplies in the kitchen were not the same as what you Experienced. "We made happy memories over a cold January weekend. We cooked together, sat around the fire, played games and dozed in comfortable beds with high quality linens. We enjoyed the view of the water and the twinkling lights on the property at night. The steam shower was divine. If you like cooking, bring good knives, a veggie peeler and good pans. Plenty of glassware and dishes and some cookware provided. "

"Our visit at this VRBO was almost excellent… the only issue we had was with theTVs. We could not get the TVs in the bedroom to work. Cleanliness was exceptional! Availability of food/meal supplies was great. It was nice that there was ice already made for us. The towel and wash cloths were fluffy and absorbent. The queen bed and pillows were very comfortable. We cannot say there was anything that did not meet expectations! Anyone would be comfortable there. We would book again. "

"We came to stay at Gilbert’s for a quick ski weekend at Powder Ridge. Gilbert was incredibly gracious and accommodating. He was very easy to communicate with, and really went out of his way to make us feel at home. The location is a little loud at night/early morning, as it is very close to a main road. But the property itself was exactly as described. Clean, comfortable, and very welcoming. "

"This was a great spot to stay with my wife, another couple, and my dog! The house is small - especially downstairs. But it is extremely well thought out and space is used as effectively as can be. Upstairs had 2 good sized bedrooms with king beds and a nicely renovated bathroom with a great shower. The house is located in a small, cute, and a bit of an unusual neighborhood. Very quiet. Very safe feel. But not too good for much dog walking and parking is super tight. Owner was very good with...

Excellent stay

"We were visiting Hartford, CT for our daughters volleyball tournament. The hotel was only one exit away from the CT Convention Center. The rooms were clean and spacious. Our rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast offered a variety of options. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were complimentary 24 hours. There is a McDonalds, Subway, and Dunkin’ Donuts within the area. The gas stations also have convenient store items and snacks. "
