"Beautiful place "

"This property is a hidden jewel. Very quiet and very peaceful. Not in the heart of the town, with all the hustle and bustle. But close enough to the historical town of Black River, the capital of St. Elizabeth parish. Also a little historical fact, it was the first town to receive electricity. The property is near to famous attractions such as Black River Safari, YS falls, Jamaica Zoo, and Holland Bamboo. Love this property!"

"Wonderful villa with a great host and onsite staff. Walk to a quiet, beautiful beach. Plenty of room. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms! Big plus for a big crew! We had the chefs prepare two meals and both were extraordinary! Full kitchen to prepare other meals. Five star visit!"

"We really enjoyed our week at Sweet Escape. The house was clean and spacious, beds were comfortable, and we loved the outdoor areas (pool, pergola, beach bed, and beach). Mark was absolutely fantastic! He made us delicious dinners and hearty breakfasts to start our day. We took care of the shopping, but he guided us at the grocery store and made recommendations. There were plenty of fun activities to do within a reasonable driving distance of the house (Black River Safari (5 min), Appleton Rum Estate (45 min), YS Falls (30 min), Pelican Bar (25 min boat ride from the house)). If you want a relaxing place away from the touristy resort areas, this is it!"

"We stayed at Villa Optima for 22 nights. The host Paolo was wonderful. He responded essentially immediately, and provided extra items for the house whenever we asked. He helped us buy fresh fish and rum and other things we needed. The private pool was very pleasant, and has some nice shaded areas so you can hang out there for a long time. The beach was just 50 yards away. It is a sandy beach and you can easily swim in the ocean. Usually there was no-one else on the beach, it was never crowded. We did a lot of snorkeling and there are fish to see. You can easily walk along the beach to small restaurants/bars and swimming coves. The drive from Montego Bay airport was a bit long, but it was worth it. Treasure Beach is a very pleasant community. A few small shops and different restaurants to try. I found a tennis court to play on and saw a local cricket match. The house worked well for us. The three air-conditioned bedrooms were good for the up to 6 people in the group. The main living room/kitchen was spacious but could do with some improved lighting. It is not air-conditioned, but the floor fan helped a lot. There is a very large and pleasant veranda around 2 sides of the house. We hung out there a lot. But do bring insect repellent. Overall we had a great time and would recommend the house to others."
