"From start to finish this holiday was fantastic. We were met by the owner on arrival, despite not arriving until after 9:00 pm. The house was exceptionally well stocked with everything you might need for this to be a home from home. We were 3 couples and had plenty of space for relaxing in the evening after touring about the island during the day. Plenty to see and do locally, a car is really essential. Couldn't recommend highly enough."

"Best family holiday for years. Nice touches here and there. If you arrived with nothing in the middle of the night you’d cope what with the spare/extra food and household essentials. Great to not have to be concerned about bedding or towels. Sorry we ended up with 3 towels in our laundry. Will launder and return. The views are amazing. The loch warm enough to swim in. And fish. "This a good wee cottage on South Uist, completely free of hustle and bustle and street lights. All amenities apart from shops were closed due to you know what! The view from the lounge is as good as you'll get, looking over to Barra. South UIst has big skies and big seas and a great viewpoint is a parking space just before you go down to the ferry for Barra on Eriskay. We saw Golden Eagles at that spot. If you like beaches you will be spoiled for choice ( buy or borrow an OS map to find them) or...
