Start every day of your stay with direct beach access and uninterrupted beach and water views! This condo is right in the center of the building, closest to the beach! This coastal getaway is the perfect place to relax after a day out exploring. The home offers a full kitchen perfect for cooking, a balcony with a gorgeous, Gulf view, and a shared, on-site pool for entertaining the entire group.

This home is conveniently located near both Padre and Gulf Boulevard offering many restaurants, bars, and shops, as well as beautiful Gulf view drives. The South Padre Island Birding and Nature Center is just a little over a mile north, while the Schlitterbahn Waterpark and Beach Resort is less than five miles south for all-ages fun. This rental is also right next to the Wanna Wanna Bar & Grill, where you can enjoy bar food, frozen drinks, and live music right on the beach.

*Wristbands are required during the month of March for anyone between the ages of 10 and 30. The wristbands can be purchased at our local office: 6001 Padre Blvd office for $25 each. Please pay by cash or check only.

GREAT VIEW
Our stay was great. The View is why we try and stay at the international. Everyone is friendly, the property is close to local restaurants. Highly recommend staying here.

You get what you pay for
The pictures on the website is not what you get. There were no accommodations. I didn’t get my apartment number to check into until I called and requested it. Bring your own towels because they will tell you to wash your if you need more.

View from room is fantastic. Has a walk-in shower. Water pressure and hot water were great, but water lines are switched so hot is cold and cold is hot. There is a sign to tell you so. Beds were clean and not terrible. Extra pillows and a set of sheets but no extra blanket for the sofa bed. Fridge needs repair. Is not cooling. Lots of sand on the floors. But again, view is amazing, close walk to the water and another favorite thing is the Wanna Wanna Bar and Grill right next door! Great food!!!

The beach is just steps away!
Clean, quiet, very friendly! A bit dated and the ceiling fan in the bedroom needs attention. All in all, we would book this again. The view of the Gulf is awsome!!

The view was awesome and location was great. Pool and hot tub were fantastic. The unit itself is run down with poor worn out furniture. A total of two butter knives with one being so bent it was unusable. a few forks and cheap spoons. Not a sharp knife in the place.

Amazing Location - old condo
Location is killer. So close to the beach and right next door to Wanna Wanna beach bar. Would be nice to spend a few bucks and fix the tile and rotted trim in the bathroom, but overall it was clean enough and great for what we needed. Upstairs neighbors seemed to enjoy moving furniture in the middle of the night... but what can you do. I loved the old school, cozy island property.

Negatives: THE DOOR DOESN'T HAVE A INSIDE LOCK!!!!! OUR TWO YEAR OLD COULD OPEN THE DOOR AND RUN DOWN THE HALL IN 2 SECONDS FLAT!! Condo is old and crusty. Bathroom was disgusting, pubic hairs on the wall, mold, rotted door trim. The bedroom stayed lit up all night due to lobby lights. The stove was a joke and the burners are falling apart making it hard to cook. Dishes were dirty when we got there. There was only one roll of toilet paper and only one kitchen trash bag for four people and four days. Positive: the view and ocean access.

HORRIBLE, DO NOT RECCOMEND
I DO NOT reccomed staying here. This place is the definition of a nightmare, okay, first the floor was very slippery and unsafe, there were orange and brown stains on the couch cushions and they tried to HIDE IT by flipping the cusions over, there was a AWFUL smell when we checked into the room, the place itself was damp and humid and there were roaches and other bugs under the mattresses, there were also white stains on the couch EVERYTHING was rusting EVERYWHERE the walls had cracks and holes, god knows why, the toilet wouldn't even flush, the air vents were extremely dirty, and there was NO ONE at the desk to help us and half of the place was wet, i do not reccomend staying here, if i had to say ANYTHING good about this place it would be that the balcony, and the proximity to the beach was nice.

The refrigerator was broken and after multiple calls to Vacasa, no one ever came to check it until after I checked out. We had to buy additional coolers and ice for 3 days since there was never a fridge for us to use at any point during our stay. There was also chewed up gum stuck to the wall by the bed. The towel rack had fallen out of the wall at some point, and instead of removing it and patching the walls, they just left giant holes in the wall.

property is a piece of crap, and vacasa does not makes it worse
This was a nightmare of a trip. We reached the property at around 5 pm. We have two small kids, and it was almost their dinner time. We tried to enter the house, no avail. None of the passcodes work. There were three lockboxes. Getting in touch with vacasa was a pain, and then finally somebody gave us the correct passcode. By this time it was 7 in the evening. Then the main door would not close. Also, there was no parking permit in the property, so I had to stay with the car in the parking lot to make sure that it is not towed. Somebody from vacasa came, gave us the parking permit late in the night, and the door situation was still unresolved. He said that the door locked, but there was no way to make sure that the door is indeed locked. The apartment was a mess. The floors were dirty. The bathroom in the condo is a disaster. The toilet paper holder was broken. The sink does not drain well. The shower is a joke. The bed was not comfortable. The worst thing about all of this was that Vacasa promised us a partial refund on our booking, and it has been a few months now, and I have still not received anything from them. Very poor property and to top it off, very bad behavior from Vacasa. The whole thing was just ridiculous.

Location was the best. View fantastic. Proximity to beach - couldn't get any closer. Surf was really rough due to hurricane out in the Gulf, but weather was wonderful.

Great location and view
We love this condo complex. So close to the beach and we had a perfect view. It is old and things are worn, but that is ok with us. We are not picky and the location makes up for it. This condo was comfortable for two people. It would be tight with more people than that. We stayed here a few other times back in the 90’s in different units. It was fun being back. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to SPI.

Small and Cozy
I have stayed in this condo complex many times (my family used to own a unit there). The condos are very small - yet perfect for a couple or a family with small children. We arrived on Thursday and checked out on Sunday - never leaving the property during our stay. The cons: * Despite keeping the patio doors closed at all times - the air conditioner just could not keep up. Late evenings and especially at night the unit would get uncomfortably hot (we had the temp set at 70 and it was consistently 75 or higher inside). * The TV in the living room worked on the first night. From then on - the channels would not change and the remote would not / did not work. We could only adjust the volume. (at least we were stuck on a good channel). * The refrigerator is small - not a standard size. Since we brought our own food and cooked all of our meals - this was inconvenient. * The couple staying in the unit next door to ours smoked pot the ENTIRE time we were there. Since I have a toddler - this prevented us from being able to enjoy the outdoor patio. (Not the condo owners fault, obviously - but this did affect our stay. * The bathroom towels are thin and cheap. They were totally inadequate and we had to use our beach towels as bathroom towels. Also there was a sign in the lobby with information / time for swapping towels - but no one was ever available to swap them. The Pros: * The unit was clean and tidy. * The furniture and beds were comfortable. * The kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials. * The unit is literally steps from the beach - which is why we stay here. We will definitely stay at this complex again and I would definitely consider renting this unit again. I would absolutely recommend this unit to others.

Fantastic Location
This is the second time I've stayed at this property and it was better than the last time. Unfortunately it rained our while trip so we spent the week indoors. Kitchen has everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the view of the gulf was awesome. Will stay in this location again.

South Padre get away
The location for this property was great!! It needs a little bit of a facelift. Some painting in some areas and some attention to other items that very obviously need to be replaced in the unit. But it was very clean. Overall, the condo was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. I only wish the weather had been better. We came during a very unusual storm front of high winds and a cold snap.
