This condo is the perfect home base for your next Lake Tahoe adventure; it's desirable for a lakefront retreat, ski and fun, leisure, and even as an escape where you can work from home. Just over a mile from Heavenly Mountain Resort, the location can't be beat for a ski getaway. Onsite amenities include a hot tub, several pools, and private lakeside beach access.

Inside, recline on the leather sofa and warm up by the fireplace during your winter stay. Head out to the balcony and dine al fresco while taking in the views. Enjoy the convenience of the kitchenette, complete with a stovetop, oven, microwave, mini-fridge, dishwasher, and coffee maker.

Things to Know
Guests staying at a South Lake Tahoe rental must adhere to all City Ordinances. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m to 9 a.m. hours. In addition no open flames, no smoking, and parking permits apply. Maximum occupancy cannot be exceeded under any circumstance. Fines of up to $2000 will be imposed by The City of South Lake Tahoe, without warning, for any violations.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Had a nice stay
We had some issues with stains on some of the fabric, an older shower that probably needs updating, some lights not working, and pretty unstable wifi. All of these problems were very minor though. The furniture was comfortable, appliances were nice and high quality, and the location was great. We had a lovely time overall.

Great location
Great location and beach was relaxing. It was under construction for the siding and the crews left nails and debris all over the porch, definitely didn’t appreciate the mess they left behind. The interior place was cozy and comfortable to stay.

Love lake tahoe
The condo was very clean and comfortable. Only one issue I went to use the iron and someone had melted something when previously used and ruined my white jacket. Everyone was very friendly- great location for hiking and kayaking. The beach, pool , and fire pits were very relaxing

Had all the necessities and clean, but poor sound insulation
Had all the necessities and overall very clean. The place was very well situated and close by everything you could possibly need (restaurants, grocery store, etc.). However, it felt more like staying in a hotel. Poor sound insulation and there were very loud neighbors (both on the side and upstairs) that were up before 7 am.

Aggravating lock w/10 digit code
The property does not provide keys. Rather, there is a 10 digit code which must be used to open the door each time one enters. The electronic lock fails frequently, even before one enters the entire code. Entry requires multiple attempts to finally get the door to unlock.

Decent Stay, Could Be Better
The property had all of conveniences you would expect in a vacation home. That being said, my wife and I were unhappy with how clean the unit was. I understand that this isn't a fancy hotel, but at the very least, I expect the bed linens and the bath towels to be very clean. There was also a sign saying that the homeowner requests to have shoes off. We typically do this at home so we thought it was great until we realized that the floor was actually dirty. Luckily, we always pack a pair of house slippers. We also found hairs on the pillow cases, two of the bath towels, and even the dish rag for some reason. I'm hoping it was from the cleaning service person and not from another person staying there before us. Although, it was obvious that one of those bath towels was used because it didn't just have hair, it was dirty too. Thankfully, there were still two clean towels available for us and extra pillow cases. The extra blankets also had hair on them too though. It just makes me wonder if they were even cleaned at all or if they were just neatly folded and put back. On the positive side, Vacasa, the property manager company, was quick to respond to our issues and offered to make things right. We were only staying two nights at this location so we opted to just let things be. This property could easily be 4 or 5 stars, but due to cleanliness, I'd say 3 stars overall.

Nice place, but the rules are a bit excessive
We enjoyed our stay in lodge room 123. It was comfortable and worth the upgrade from a hotel room. A few things bothered me about it though, the first being that it says that it sleeps up to 4 but there’s only one bed. I slept in the recliner. The second thing that I disliked was the rule about only having 4 people in the room at any time. We had friends staying next door at a hotel. They were not allowed to come to our room to eat or play games which is part of the reason we chose to stay at Lakeland. We could have tried to bend the rules however the management office is across the hallway from room 123, which brings me to the last thing that I disliked about the room; the noise. People go in and out of the management office all day and night, letting the door close loudly behind them. Know that the room is managed by Vacasa and not Lakeland. We needed more towels and went to the from desk to ask for more. We were told that we had to contact Vacasa to have them send someone to bring more towels. It’s an unnecessary inconvenience when you are on vacation. I’m pointing out things that I wish were pointed out to me before reserving a non-refundable room. The room was nice and having access to two pools, a hot tub and gym. Access to the “private” beach was a great draw as well. Being close to CVS and Heidi’s restaurant were nice added perks. There is a shuttle that will take you to the casinos and shopping areas which we weren’t aware of until after we returned home. All of these things should be made known to you when checking in or even when booking your stay. Overall, we had a good stay that could’ve been great if the communication from the property management was better. Instead, we received a list of rules and education about bears.

Good basic Tahoe location
The location is wonderful with 2 beautiful pools and amazing beach access. This specific property is a hotel with in-room kitchenette with VERY basic, limited, and broken kitchenware. The checkin process was the most frustrating. Being literally the first room next to the front desk but having to drive 15mins down the road to sign a paper and be given a passcode that could have easily been uploaded via the app put a major damper on the start of vacation. To note the property is for 2 persons not the listed 4. There is a single queen bed and a couch ( that does not convert to a bed). Originally when we booked the property was listed as a 2 bed but was later changed to a single bed but with 4 persons *after* we booked. Overall a good place and we had a wonderful vacation.

Great stay but bathroom door barely closed past toilet
Loved how close it is to state line. It was right inside next to the lobby and elevators. So you can hear pretty much everything and thin walls. But it had everything we needed!! Small fridge, microwave, stove and even toiletries. Only thing was, the bathroom was extremely crammed! The door barely shut because of how close the toilet was. Def would stay here again!
