We just received the first snowfall of the season and it looks like it will be a great year-book your ski trip now.
The Lazy Bear's Den is designed with relaxation in mind. Set up for 2 couples or a small family this spot is the perfect retreat. Come play in the snow, relax or if you have to work WIFI is provided.
The location is wonderful: less than 4 miles to Heavenly Ski Resort, the village with shopping and dining, If Sierra At Tahoe is your skiing choice it is approximately 15 miles away. In the summer time the Lake is close, depending on which is your favorite beach.
As you enter the cabin you will immediately notice all the custom wood details, the living area with comfy leather couch and chairs is focused on the gas fireplace and flat screen TV. Adjacent to the living area is the dining room. The kitchen is set up for the family chef to prepare a feast, there are plenty of dishes, pots and pans, serving items. There is a slider to the spacious and fenced backyard-perfect for summer bbqs. There is an additional space off the living area with a couch and a TV-a great space for the kids to play. This room does have a futon if you need an extra spot to sleep.
There is a full bath (shower stall only) that is shared by both bedrooms. The master bedroom has a 1/2 bath attached. The master also has access to the backyard.
The backyard has a Gas BBq, picnic table and chairs.
Maximum Occupancy is 6, in beds the home sleeps 4, plus the futon. Children 5 and under are not counted. Occupancy Rules are in place at all times.

While staying here, please make sure to follow local ordinances (noise/maximum occupancy and maximum vehicles on site)We also require a signed rental agreement for every reservation and the person signing must be 25 years of age, must be staying at the property and have a copy of the signed rental agreement with them during their stay.
Parking is tight, 2 smaller vehicles will fit easily, if you are driving large trucks or SUVs they may not both fit. Street parking or dirt parking is not allowed.

When traveling to Tahoe in the winter be prepared for winter driving, possible road closures and delays in snow removal. You are booking a trip to the mountains so come prepared.
Our snow removal crews work every day, but we have no control over the county road snow plows that clear the roads.
4WD and or chains are always recommended. If you come in a small, low profile vehicle you may have difficulties.
Tahoe has experiences frequent power outages during snow, rain, wind events. We provide lanterns, but sometimes they disappear (or batteries vanish)
