1. El Dorado County Rental Ordinance
The following laws were set forth by the county and apply to every home in Tahoe:
- 10pm - 8am is the county quiet time for all rentals.
- Trash cannot be left outside and must go into the bear box or dumpster only.
- We cannot host extra people or allow parties.
- We cannot accomodate extra cars, parking on the street or on the dirt.
- No excessive noise, loud music or yelling.
Please Note: Neighbors may alert the police who will issue fines to guests found to be in violation. In order to protect this owner’s permit, we do reserve the right to ask guests to vacate the home and forfeit all monies paid if this happens. We also reserve the right to charge guests up to $2,000 to cover fines from the county. This is a rare occurrence and something we highly dislike doing so we do our best to warn our guests before it comes to this. Please keep your booking phone number on you at all times during your stay so we can get ahold of you. Thank you!

6. We have a “You break, you buy” policy when it comes to damage. You are responsible for any damage that occurs during your stay. We do understand that accidents happen so please report all damage to us when it happens so that we can come up with a game plan for repair. Failure to report damage may result in automatically being charged for the repair.
