Great time at the Water View Inn
The Water’s View Inn is a beautiful old Victorian home that has been converted exceptionally well into a Bed & Breakfast. Our room was spacious and really comfortable with an excellent view of the lake.

I love the homey comfortable feel of the house and the rooms. Staff was attentive and communication was prompt. Breakfast was delicious. The beach is just across the street, lots of unique shops and restaurants a couple blocks away. We had a nice view of the lake from our room.

Owners where very friendly and were accommodating as we had needed to make a last minute change. Loved this quaint B & B and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, picturesque place to stay just a short walk from Lake Michigan.

Happy place
Service was remarkable and even called me to say we could check in early when ch meant I didn't have to wear my bathing suit on the 2 1/2 hr drive since restrooms closed at the beach. Always asked if he could do anything for us. Place is so comfortably and newly decorated. A few more upgrades will be done. Breakfast is a little too Gordon Foods for me though fresh fruit is available. Would like yogurt, hard boiled eggs, bagels, Bundes... Had a great view of Marina with a balcony. So relaxing, friendly, convenient to beach. Perfect get away.

We really liked the ambience of Waters View Inn as the breakfast was very good with homemade items and very good coffee. Our host Kevin had a great personality and made us feel very welcome. I didn’t like our room size but we had a room they are going to revamp. The bathroom and room were very small and outdated.

We loved the location and the view. Staff is very nice. The only thing we didn't like is we didn't know we were located on the 3rd floor. We are in our mid 60's and it was difficult getting all our suitcases and stuff up the 3 flights of stairs. Otherwise, it was a wonderful place to stay.

Quaint with Amazing location
This is a really quaint place to stay in South Haven. You cannot beat the location, one block in from the water and one block away from the public entrance of south beach. The exterior is lovely (the grass needs some tending to) but the main lobby has been renovated and is really beachy and friendly feeling. Breakfast in the morning was simple but did the trick. We had an older room, which met our needs but was a bit outdated. That said, some rooms are newer and looked beautiful. Make sure you inquire about that. All in all, really happy with our decision to stay here - location is also an 8 minute walk to downtown where all the restaurants are and a very delicious bakery across the street. Highly recommend!

Waters View had much more character than a motel-modern comforts in a place that maintains the charm of its history. Our family of 4 stayed in the two bedroom Listiak for two nights. The accommodations were reasonably priced and spotless. The Inn was relaxing and peaceful, the beds were comfortable, and the coffee and morning treats were delicious. We enjoyed our walks over the drawbridge to see South Beach and grab a bite for dinner, but LOVED that Waters View is an extremely convenient short distance from North Beach. It was a great stay!

The staff was wonderful -- pleasant, friendly and helpful. The chef was also very friendly and quite talented; the food was excellent. There were many "extras" for the guests left in the common areas, and always more than enough for everyone. The Inn is dated, and I would question some of the choices made by whoever designed the renovations, but we were pleased with our stay overall.
