MICHIANA #4: Two bedroom one bath in downtown South Haven!

The Michiana Apartment #4 is available to mature, responsible and respectful adults and families only. We try to provide a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for our guests. We respectfully ask that you please take this into consideration should you choose the Michiana Apartment #4.

The Michiana was originally built in the late 1800s as a large single family home. Years ago it was converted into four separate apartments: two one bedroom apartments and two two bedroom apartments. The Michiana Apartment #4 has two spacious bedrooms with one queen bed in each bedroom. Each bedroom also has a closet, a dresser and a chair. The living room has comfortable seating as well as a large flat screen TV. Apartment #4 has recently had both mechanical and cosmetic updates while still retaining some of the original historic details and finishes. The apartment has a very functional floor plan (see pictures) that can comfortably accommodate a family of four or two adult couples.

There is a sun soaked outdoor deck directly adjacent to the apartment with western exposure which gets nice afternoon sun. There is also a natural gas Weber grill off the deck. Directly next to the deck is the off street parking area so you do not have to carry your luggage or your groceries too far when loading and unloading.

It sounds like such a cliche', but the location is truly ideal. The Michiana is what we like to call 'Close, but not too close!'. By this we mean that it is an easy walk home from the restaurants and night life on Phoenix Street, yet far enough away that you can still sleep peacefully at night. The walk to South Beach is only three blocks west straight down Michigan Avenue. This is the best of small town Americana! Have your morning coffee and sweet roll on a bench on Main Street, or in this case Phoenix Street, and watch people stroll by. Then head back home to change into your swim suit and walk down to the beach for a day of fun in the sun. We feel the Michiana is centrally located between downtown South Haven and the beautiful South Beach.

This quaint spot is in a perfect location to park the car and stay! Everything in the apartment is as listed and communication with the host is great. No problems whatsoever and will look into the establishment again.

Thiss apartment was well appointed and cosy. It was a plus to have 2 bedrooms and the beds were really comfortable. We also enjoyed having our own balcony. We would definitely stay there again.

First time to South Haven
We enjoyed our stay. Location was perfect. Basically parked the car and walked everywhere. We took a day trip to Holland to the Dutch Village(5yr old loved) and a quick trip to Saugatuck. South Haven had everything! Venezia Pizza, Chomps hot dogs, Sherman’s ice cream, Sunsetter cruise, pier, marina and BEACH. Sunsets were a generous gift from God.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is located within walking distance of the beach and downtown. There was an issue with our bathroom leaking into the apartment below, hopefully that can be looked into so that it is no longer an issue. There were some cracks around the tub so I can see how that might be the case. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, it's a perfect location in our favorite town next to our favorite beach.

Wonderful location!
This is our 2nd time staying at this location. Close to everything downtown and the water, which is great. Michael is very responsive. The amenities are a bit dated and some small touches (spoons and bowls for example) aren't hard to provide. But a wonderful place and we sure enjoyed our time.

Clean and Convenient Location
Michiana #4 was perfect for our family with 2 children (ages 3 & 8). The location was perfect for us to access everything we wanted to see and do. We enjoyed hanging out on the large deck in the mornings and evenings to take in the beautiful SoHa weather. The condo was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Also, the outdoor shower was very useful when returning from the beach, especially with young children. The host, Michael, was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay and checked in on us often, which was much appreciated. We would consider staying here again on future visits.
