THE SPACE
The interior of Sandy Shores provides a great atmosphere for unwinding, chilling out and spending time with your guests. The sumptuous living room, with its super-comfy wraparound couch, fireplace and big-screen TV, is an excellent place for sharing a glass of wine or favorite beverage. And when you’re in the mood for some entertainment, the flat-screen TV there – as well as the flat-screen TV in each bedroom – has over 100 programmed apps, all set up in Guest Mode. Given the open design, you can also view the fireplace or TV from the cute dining area or kitchen’s stone-top central island. Add to all these seating options the wonderful natural light and sweet views out the expansive windows, you’ll find yourselves agreeing the Sandy Shores’ LR-DR-Kitchen space is set up perfectly for easy-peasy vacation relaxation!

We should mention the kitchen is dreamy, too, with all you need for cooking up scrumptious vacay meals, including top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances – yep, a dishwasher, too – a full array of cooking and eating utensils, pots, pans, plates and bowls, plenty of room to move around, and a cool beans Keurig coffeemaker, plus some essential pantry items.

All 3 bedrooms are upstairs and feature stylish décor, plenty of storage space and high-quality bedding and linens, to ensure a sound sleep and sweet dreams! And did we mention, a flat-screen, fully-programmed TV is set up in each bedroom? Oh, yeah! By the way, the primary bedroom has an Ensuite bathroom, and two of the three bedrooms have roomy walk-in closets.

The outside area in front and behind Sandy Shores features tall, beautiful trees, which you can see through many of the inside windows. There’s a simple back stoop, and a commonly shared firepit, as well.

One of the best features of Sandy Shores is your super-close proximity to a number of pristine, crystal-sand Lake Michigan beaches, the closest, Newcome Street Beach, being just a short walk away. However, also within short walking distance is Harbor Club South Haven, where you and your guests will have access to their seasonal heated outdoor pool, year-round indoor pool and exquisite clubhouse. You will also have access to their private boat rentals, golf-cart and LSV – low-speed vehicle – rentals, and kayak or dinghy rentals.

Being located in the quaint lakeside resort town of South Haven, itself a highly prized getaway destination, often called The Catskills of the Midwest, you can also enjoy sampling excellent restaurants and cafes, great shopping at stylish boutiques, treasure-hunting at popular antique markets, and checking out the fine arts and crafts at distinguished galleries. If it suits the occasion, you and your guests can explore numerous local award-winning wineries and breweries – wonderful tours are available – or try your hand at nearby golf courses or hiking and biking trails that abound in the area. There’s also the many activities afforded by the being a short drive away from the region’s largest recreational harbor, including day or night cruises and fishing excursions. But don’t forget, being a year-round vacation spot, Sandy Shores is an ideal winter vacation rental, as well, with many skiing, ice skating, cross-country skiing and winter activities galore to dive into! And yes, we’re pet-friendly as can be – just be sure to mention any pets when you’re making your reservation.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
To abide by all legal requirements and property security rules, you may be asked to participate in a guest prescreening. All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing a vacation travel insurance policy if you suspect that you will need to cancel your vacation.

Contactless Check-In: Detailed check-in instructions will be sent via text or email two days before your stay, provided all guest agreements are completed.

The minimum age to rent this home is 25.

A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver is included with your reservation. This waiver covers accidental damage or loss to the rental property caused by you or members of your party up to a maximum of $2,000. This plan does not cover intentional acts, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

For guests who would like to bring pets we agree that pets are part of the family, and we welcome a maximum of two (2) dogs under 40 lbs here. All pets must be authorized at time of booking - email us immediately for pet approval if you plan to bring your dog(s).

Out of respect for our staff and their families, we do not permit check-ins or outs on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Thank you for your understanding.
