"Upon arrival was ecstatic with the way the property looked from the outside! It only got better as we entered the home. Clean, up to date, roomy and comfortable! We took a walk over to the pond and the only statement made was "WOW!". We had a great time using the all of the water toys and even took a dip in the pond. "If you are considering this cabin, do not hesitate to book it. It is absolutely beautiful, perfect spot on the lake and still close to many local venues. We enjoyed a beautiful fall weekend and cannot wait to go back. Denise was the most gracious host and made us feel at home. We were able to fish off the dock which is just steps from the front porch. "I wish I could give 5 stars, but I can’t. We arrived on a Tuesday afternoon, at 4:30. We unlocked the door and entered into a powerful smell. Campfire. Black soot up the front of the fireplace and the smell was awful. And of coarse, we are super sensitive to the smell. Looking around, I found the couch to be filthy, every screen had nasty cobwebs, dirt on the floor, bedding filthy, mold on the shower floor, Bathroom faucet was disgusting and obviously not cleaned . "We had a lovely weekend stay at this cozy cabin. Super clean, all the amenities needed for our small family, 2 adults + 3 year old. Convenient location, we would book here again when we are back in the area. "

"This is a small backyard apartment a block away from downtown Wiscasset. The house met our needs. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was small but with enough equipment to prepare simple meals. The house was in walking distance of shops and restaurants in Wiscasset. There was a grill and patio for those who wanted to cook outside. The was a washer and dryer available. "

"The response from the host was amazing! Our internet was a little slow the first day and they came and fixed it immediately. This house would be perfect for a family with kids. Lots of fun toys and extra beds in each bedroom. 10/10 recommend!! "

"The house was really nice. Updated with all modern appliances and very clean. The beds were very comfy. The scenery is beautiful on the lake. Wish there was coffee for the morning but wasn’t replaced from the previous tenants. Overall definitely recommend. "
