"What a great little place to stay! Always stay in Cave City as I drive down to Mardi Gras every year from Ontario. I love that area just off the highway where the T-Rex statue stands by the southbound I-65 exit 53 ramp. The area is VERY well lit. There are gas stations and, even though I rarely eat fast food, there are a ton of options around there. I've stayed at different locations around that area and only one was not good. I'm reviewing this as it is. I don't review hotels with lesser stars as if they should be some luxury spot. This is a budget-friendly place that provided everything I needed. You can clearly see that it is an older property, but they have put in the work to keep it up. The paint looked new and the floors looked new too. The place was spotless. Bed was very comfortable. TV worked and there was a good selection of channels. Luggage rack was in the room, which I love. You can get your large suitcase up to grab level and open it up without lugging up and down off the bed or a table. There was a desk with a chair, VERY clean fridge and microwave - in fact the over-the-top 'fancy' hotel I stayed at in The Quarter didn't have a fridge but they brought one and it was disgusting.
