"We have friends in the area and actually own 50 acres nearby that we plan to build on beginning next year. We also had graduation to attend two hours east of there. Lollie’s Retreat checked all the boxes for us. The apartment was beautifully decorated and included all the amenities that we could want. Views are amazing! Highly recommend!!"

"Let me start by saying that our host for this stay is probably the most friendly and communicative host I've ever encountered. At EVERY step of the way (including a last minute extension request) she was quick, responsive, and accommodating. "We loved our stay and visit to Mammoth Cave. The animals were awesome, and our youngest son loved visiting with the horses each day. The train at night took awhile to get used to, but overall, we had a great time. "

"Beautiful country home that made is feel like we were home. David was awesome and even brought a Christmas tree for us to enjoy the holiday. The farm animals were a great addition and we were able to bring our grandson to see them. "

"This home is spacious, clean and beautiful. The bathrooms are large, with luxurious showers. The kitchen is also large and it was perfect for prepping dinner for our large family. We all enjoyed the big, open game/rec room! Our host was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate us! I highly recommend this property!"

"Very nice older farmhouse, loved the shed with pool table and ping pong. Remote location, but not too far from area attractions - great location in our opinion! The host is wonderful and very easy to communicate with."

"Peaceful location about 1/2 mile from the main road with very little road noise. Really , the only noise was from the cattle in the field across the road. Property is as listed and convenient to Monticello and Beaver Creek Marina. Lots of boat trailer parking."

"This was a great place to stay for us to hang out and have some quality time with friends! It was super clean, and I was very impressed with how much thought the host had put in to stocking items you may need. We really enjoyed our stay!"

"We enjoyed a few days away at this property. Be aware, this unit is on the second floor. There is a stair lift which was a blessing. If you need it, make arrangements in advance. It has an updated kitchen area and even a dishwasher. Also, the outside grill is charcoal, which was provided. The bed was large and comfy."

"Our family chose Kentucky to celebrate a milestone birthday & visit Makers’s Mark Distillery. One of the primary reasons we decided on this property was that it was dog friendly. The property itself is warm, inviting and spacious. The owner had great/fast communication —and even stopped by when we couldn’t figure out how to work the television. Throughout our time on the farm, we truly felt like we were being woven into the local fabric. "

"My wife and I wanted a safe quiet spot to use as home base for a visit to Mammoth Cave. Great location for just that. Clean and dog friendly, it was the off season so no neighbors made it extra quiet for evnings in the hot tub."
