So keep that in mind when booking. If you prefer new and bougie, look elsewhere. In saying that, based on MY room and MY experience staying there 3 nights: the original floors creak in some spots, there are typical "gaps" under the doors but do not affect anything (layout of my room did not let in...

"At arrival we were warmly greeted by the owner, John. His hospitality was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. This is far better than a hotel. The ideal bed and breakfast charm too. He is so kind and goes out of his way to make his guests feel welcome and appreciated. We came to Augusta for medical reasons, and his kindness touched us at a difficult time. I will be staying here in the future, during my visits for treatment at the Augusta hospital."

"The hotel looked shady from the get go. The toilet had to be fixed when we got there and couldn’t change rooms he is e”there wasn’t another room available”. Found a couple bed bugs on the sheets and the cover on the other bed looked as if it had dry blood on it. Also it’s not the Hotel Aiken that you’re staying at, but the Holley House. May want to change that on your site. Overall an unpleasant experience to say the least. "
