"A friendly and helpful welcome to the Hotel and soon booked into our room and explained where to park our vehicle once we had unloaded. The hotel has a very traditional feel downstairs, charming. The corridors and the rooms themselves were decorated in a very dark scheme, which even with the lights on was a little difficult to always see well. The room was large and comfortable although the bathroom was clean it was a little dated in design. The hotel restaurant was excellent with a lovely evening meal. Not the cheapest in town, but excellent quality and again, very friendly staff. "

"This property was amazing for our children, offering plenty of entertainment, including pétanque, pinball machine, trampoline, swings, playhouse, basketball, swimming pool and table tennis. The children were in their element. The view was incredible and the location perfect for days out and popping to the boulangerie in Meyssac, which was lovely. Collonges la Rouge was such a gorgeous village and only 10minutes away. The only reason we have marked this down is due to the black mould encountered in one of the bedrooms. This was a problem for us with several family members suffering with respiratory concerns. We did let Jerome and Samuel know and they dealt with it promptly. The house was otherwise very clean. Another point of note is that there are only 2 toilets despite the 3 bathrooms. One toilet upstairs separate to the shower rooms and the other under the stairs downstairs. In our view another one is needed when you are catering to large groups as taller members (6’5”) of our group couldn’t use the one downstairs. "

"We had a great stay - Jean-Brice was very helpful and accomodating - including setting up some outdoor tables and camp beds for kids. It is a big property with heaps of rustic charm. We didn’t realise there were additional outdoor areas (including a firepit and outdoor sitting room) all of which were fantastic with lots of kids running round. Great location with beautiful views, sunsets and local attractions."

"The stunning building has wow factors at every turn. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large, well decorated, and completely individual. The breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful. The location is right in the centre of this beautiful old town that is well worth exploring. I recommend staying here to anyone. "

"Beautiful villa , beautiful pool but partly my fault for not doing research properly. This villa is part of a working farm (sheep & goats) this caused major issues with flys I means loads of them so much so that you could not eat or drink outside in the beautiful sunshine. It really should be pointed out in the advertisement of this villa . Beware "

"A lovely, rustic gite, clean, tidy, comfortable and well equipped. Nicely isolated but only 10 minutes from Argentat-sur-Dordogne, with its shops and bars. The private pool was excellent and the patio was a lovely space to relax in the warm evenings."

"When I checked in, I was so tired that i dropped my wallet on the way to my room. Thankfully, hotel staff found it intact & knocked on my door 15 minutes later. I'm very grateful to them for literally saving my holiday!"
