"Nettes Haus für die ganze Familie. Das Haus liegt 10 Minuten zu Fuß vom Strand entfernt. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und man fühlt sich jederzeit im Haus Willkommen. Es gibt 3 Schlafzimmer. Ein Schlafzimmer ist in einer Einliegerwohnung untergebracht. Wir würden jderzeit wieder kommen. Hervorzuheben ist noch der Eigentümer. Kommunikation wie auch Abwicklung waren Hervorragend! "

"This is a very special place in which the owners have invested a lot of care and attention. It is beautifully decorated and furnished and has everything you need. The decking, outside eating area, hammock and pool are all fantastic. Tennis courts across the road. We enjoyed cycling to the beach every day (4k) with our 3 children, we also enjoyed the cafe at the end of the road. The local spar shop is very well stocked. The owner Nicolas is very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great holiday."

"Das Haus wurde nach Absprache mit dem Vermieter vorher gelüftet und gesäubert - zu unserer Ankunft war alles perfekt. Das Grundstück war frisch gemäht, ist riesig und hat sehr schöne Bäume. Zudem ist die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter sehr gut, es wird sofort reagiert, wenn es um den Ersatz einer neuen Gasflasche, eines Grills oder um andere Probleme geht. Der Strand, Plage du Pin Sec ist weitläufig und auch in der Hauptferienzeit nicht überlaufen."

"The property is large and easily accommodated our party (9 guests) and could have taken more guests too. The outside space was fantastic and all the children loved the pool. The inside dining area was spacious and the kitchens were well stocked. The sleeping accommodation was great - beds were comfortable and to have air conditioning was a real bonus. The location of the property is fantastic with the beach only a few km away. The owner was super helpful and although doesn’t speak English used...

"Three days before leaving the UK we were contacted by the owner's agent saying we had to leave a large € deposit (now increased). I offered a credit card but they would only accept a cheque or cash. Appealed to owner who agreed to reduce but still had to leave a large amount in cash. Owner pointed out it was in his conditions. This is not communicated in the booking and I eventually I found it hidden, in French, in a sub menu, under House Rules, on the UK website. On departure we had to get to...

"Lovely house ... lovely location.200 meters from the beach great local shops including marche de parc , well furnished house with plenty of character.. Accommodating 2 families (10 people in total) .. minor inconvenience being having to make up the beds on arrival after a long journey , the quality of the linen did not match the high standard expected for the money spent on renting the property.. also a a lack of towels despite being listed in inventory .. .. However we would all return to this...

"With 7 members of the party keen to surf every day, this was an ideal location - 10 mins drive from Gurp beach (with a small parade of cafes and restaurants just beyond the campsite). It was also within easy reach (20-30 mins)of the pretty seaside resort of Soulac , supermarkets, petrol stations, local vineyards (with walk-in free tastings) and open markets as well as the bigger surf resort of Hourtin plage (and lake). The beach chalet itself was well equipped (once the broken oven was replaced)...

Le seul point d'amélioration à noter serait la literie, notamment lorsqu'on y séjourne pour une longue période (ici 2 semaines). "Das Haus ist wundervoll . Wir waren sieben Erwachsenen. Alles war sehr sauber, alles war wie beschrieben und in der Küche war auch alles vorhanden und sehr sauber. Kleines mango, die Bäder sind klein und wenig ablagemöglichkeiten bei 7 Personen gewöhnungsbedürftig. Auch ist nur ein Bad für alle zugänglich, das eine Bad ist in einem Schlafzimmer mit dabei. Da ist es nicht so leicht zugänglich das es von allen nutzbar ist. Ein Sonnenschirm mehr wäre auch gut. Das alles hat den Aufenthalt nicht...

Was wonderful to sit on the front decking listening to the water, seabirds and nightingales Cabin fantastically well equipped for both cooking and eating. The dog of my friend had enough space and we were able to have each space for each other to relax , but also a very comfortable living space/open kitchen to come together and enjoy music and food.
