"If you love the ambience of a quaint cottage with beautiful decor, this is the place to stay. The cottage was very clean and the hostess was helpful. The location was near public transportation. We enjoyed our stay there and would loved to stay there again."

"We had a 3 night stay here on the the long drive north from Italy. The 'little house' is just that. Spacious for two, very well equipped and very clean and well presented. "We throughly enjoyed our three nights in Anke's cottage. It provided a great base to explore Strasbourg and the Alsace region. The cottage itself is cozy and enchanting, located on the grounds of a larger chatelet. Anke and her husband Eric were welcoming and friendly. I definitely recommend!"

"Mein Mann und ich waren für ein paar ruhige Tage mit unserer kleinen Hündin in dem süßen kleinen Ferienhaus zu Besuch. Wir wollten mal in Ruhe abschalten, lesen und relaxen. Es war perfekt!! Noch nie hatten wir eine solche Einweisung und liebevoll bis ins kleinste Detail ausgearbeitete Informationen zum Haus und allen Möglichkeiten. Der Kamin hat für uns den Wohlfühlfaktor noch maximiert. Vielen Dank!! Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"Un gîte cosy très agréable pour toute la famille. Nous sommes venus y passer Noël : le sapin était fait et une jolie crèche mise en scène complétait la décoration. Des voisins de bon conseil nous ont permis de trouver de bons petits plats chez les commerçants du coin. La proximité de la belle ville d’Obernai est également un atout. "The gite was tastefully decorated and had all the equipment you need. We visited in a heat wave and the gite was nice and cool and a has a huge bathroom / walk in shower. Lovely terrace outside which gives privacy from neighbours. Matthieu lives opposite and was on hand for anything we needed but not at all intrusive. Also lots of lovely forests nearby to walk or cycle in and it's near enough to the German border to easily have a day in Germany."

"Clean and well-equipped for a family vacation. Located in a quiet, charming village close to Strasbourg (about 35 minutes from the park and ride). The village restaurant, within walking distance from the property, was also a great place to eat (note: closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). The host was helpful and knowledgeable about the area."

"We loved everything about our stay this week - the house was decorated so sweetly and they even had a Christmas tree up! The location was perfect, not far to Strasbourg at all - and it’s in the cutest little town.We have been spoiled by the towel warmers in the bathrooms and the super comfortable beds. "This property lacks nothing - spacious, comfortable with everything you could ever need for a fabulous stay. The views of the deer each morning are delightful and Twix and Bounty (sheep which look like goats in the field) are lovely and will delight your children. "Marguerite was a wonderful host and her house and garden are beautiful. There is plenty of room for a couple to relax. The lounge has two big sofas, nice lights and satellite TV. The kitchen is well-equipped, with a new oven and lots of pans and cutlery. The bedroom is comfortable and the shower is easy to use. We also appreciated the washing machine and iron. "Alte Sandsteinmauern, dicke Balken und darin eine moderne, sehr individuell eingerichtete großzügige Wohnung. Der Garten auch im Herbst wunderbar, ländliche Beete, Rasen, ein kleiner Teich, geschützte Sitzgelegenheiten. Das Dorf liegt mitten im Elsass und ist trotzdem untouristisch und sehr ruhig. "Wir waren 4 Freundinnen, die sich seit über 40 Jahre kennen und treffen uns jährlich für eine Woche in schöner Umgebung. Diesmal wurden unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. "Unsere Woche in Breuschwickersheim bei Frau Huth war sehr erholsam. Bei Ankunft wurden wir überaus freundlich empfangen und ausführlich in die Wohnung und die Freizeitaktivitäten der näheren Umgebung eingewiesen! Fahrradtouren nach Straßburg (ca.15km) und in die benachbarten Ortschaften sind sehr zu empfehlen da es einen sehr schönen Radweg entlang des Kanals gibt!! Alles in allem eine kurzweilige Woche! "
