"This property is at the end of an unmade road which means you will see almost no-one during your stay so it's very private. It's an easy 30 minute drive from Faro. Rui, the host, is very helpful and easy to talk to. Accommodation was clean and comfortable and we wanted for nothing."

"This is a lovely villa in a lovely peaceful location, the pool was well maintained and the house was clean. There are however a number of negatives with this property; when we booked the property the pool was advertised as heated, it is not. There are air conditioning units in the sitting room and one in the master bedroom, neither of which work, we understand they have been "disabled". "If you want rustic this is the place to stay. Very welcoming on arrival beds are very very comfortable. Have a walk around the farm well looked after. Would definately stay again"

"Great place lovely hide away. Completely tucked away but only a short distance from shops or restaurants. Estói is lovely traditional town. Steve is a lovely bloke and made sure everything was catered for. The converted farm house is Very special design all the modern amenities but with classy Original features. "Perfect villa for a family holiday. In a quiet area but not too far from Vilamoura. Fantastic authentic farmhouse with plenty of space and gorgeous entertainment areas especially the swimmong pool. Would highly recommend for a large family holoday. Jenny was a great host who was always available if you had any questions. "

"Our group was 2 couples ( in our 60s) staying for a week. The Villa was perfect as both bedrooms had en suites along with decent sized living areas to relax. We enjoyed the fresh oranges from the groves that are part of the property. It is a very quiet and relaxing environment. We did not walk into the town as it is a long walk - a car is necessary . "Jorge is a very attentive host and the apartment was perfect - spacious and in the middle of an orange orchard. Ideal location for exploring eastern Algarve and with space for kids to run around and relax. Would highly recommend and will be back to stay again."

"About 15 min walk to marina, quiet location, very spacious & clean 3 bed apartment with kitchen & 2 bathrooms. Staff on reception were very welcoming, helpful & friendly. Beautiful gardens/surroundings. About 20 min walk to the old village which was also lovely for cafes, bars & restaurants. Bar abit pricey for drinks but plenty of bars & restaurants within walking distance. "

"Before we even got through the front gate the bell was out of order and you had to phone to gain access. It took 3 calls before we got through The room was very noisy in the evening and the balcony chairs plastic When we had tea on the main bars patio/balcony the receptionist closed the door and we were left locked out There wasn’t even an egg cup in our superior room Enough said "

Quality hotel

"Lovely large comfortable rooms with good technology, great Bluetooth speaker and large shower. Gym was simple but effective and indoor spa had small heated dip pool, sauna and steam room along with 4 types of shower! Outdoor rooftop waterfall pool was larger with plenty of chairs and areas to relax in the sunshine. "

Beautiful hotel

"Had a lovely stay as a couple at Dom Jose. The hotel is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We had a standard room which was quite small but sufficient. Breakfast was very nice. The restaurant over looks the promenade and sea which is a lovely setting to enjoy breakfast in. There is a lovely terrace where you can sit and enjoy a drink and take in the lovely views or watch the sunset. The location of the hotel is excellent as it is surrounded by restaurants, bars and shops and just a stones throw from the beach. I would definitely return to this hotel and would highly recommend it to friends. "
