The house is located in the small hamlet Bjärdakken. Since there are only three residents, rest and relaxation are guaranteed. The 1.8 ha property is surrounded by forest on three sides, the fourth side is bordered by the river, which is about 2 km wide. Reindeers, elk and bears are the closest neighbors.
With the furnishing and equipment we have paid particular attention to the well-being of our guests without neglecting the rural character. After your adventures in the fantastic nature of Lapland, you can end the day with a good book in the cozy sofa corner. For a good night's sleep, a four-poster bed full of Lapland dreams is waiting for you.
The building was kept in the style of the Nordic tradition. Mainly fir and pine woods were used as building material, which were felled in the northern Scandinavian forests and processed on site in craft workshops. The interior is heated in an environmentally friendly manner using geothermal energy, which guarantees a comfortable temperature in almost all seasons. The real Lapland feeling only comes up when the fire crackles in the fireplace and its flickering glow spreads in the hut. Therefore we have installed a wood stove in the holiday home for the 'cuddle factor' and for particularly cold winter days.
The green roof keeps it pleasantly cool even in summer temperatures - which can even reach + 30 ° C in Lapland.
The holiday home is highly recommended for family vacationers but also for individual vacationers and couples.

The area around Sorsele with its rivers and countless lakes is one of the best fishing areas in Northern Scandinavia. Here you can fish for fine fish such as salmon, trout, grayling and char. But pike, perch and whitefish (big whitefish) are also more common. For hikers in summer and autumn, the surrounding mountains and the wide mountain landscape are adventure and nature experience alike. Here you can watch reindeer, moose and eagles. With a bit of luck, you might even come across a bear. In the winter half-year, the area enchants with snow-covered forests and the typical tranquility of the north. The northern lights are particularly intense at this time of year. Now the time has come for snowshoeing, skiing and dog sledding. Our guided snowmobile safaris into the untouched mountain landscape are a special winter experience. On the other hand, our ski area on Nalovardo offers alpine skiers and snowboarders downhill fun on all slopes of all levels of difficulty. The ski area is only 4 km from your holiday home.
For your summer or winter tours in the Lapland wilderness, we recommend a guided tour by our mountain and wilderness guide Joachim. He was trained in Sweden, knows the region and can tell you a lot about the history of the north and the Sami culture.
