Terrible Experience – Would Not Recommend My stay at this hotel was beyond disappointing. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed how cramped the entire place felt. The hallways are narrow and dimly lit, making it feel almost claustrophobic to get to the rooms. To add to the frustration, the receptionist did not speak a word of English, which made the check-in process slow and confusing. The breakfast area was shockingly small, with barely enough room for guests to sit comfortably, and finding an empty seat was nearly impossible. The few options available were subpar, with food running out quickly and no staff around to replenish anything. Location-wise, the hotel is situated in a noisy, bustling area that didn’t feel safe, especially at night. Street noise made it hard to relax or get a decent night’s sleep. Overall, this hotel was a huge letdown, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay.

We were so pleased with this hotel. It was in a convenient location near Piazza Tasso. Close to the ferry and many restaurants. Very modern, clean rooms and excellent breakfast included. The people at the front desk were extremely helpful. We highly recommend and we certainly would stay there again.

Hotel is in a convenient location to walk to restaurants and down to the marina. Staff is friendly and made an effort to ensure a positive experience during our stay. Room was nice however the bed mattress was a little too firm for our liking.

Close to train station. Very clean with friendly staff. Not central to the busy core of Sorrento but only two minutes away. Older property which is well maintained and decorated. Would stay there again.

We travel a lot and Italy never disappoints. The richness of their culture, the warmth of its people…. All the staff at this hotel is extremely accommodating. We stop at front desk only to ask a question and Vincenzo went out of his way, called the tour company and arranged a closer pick up. He definitely conquered our hearts. Very, very grateful for making our stay memorable. We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay and happy that we booked with Hotel Sorrento City. Property and rooms very clean, staff very helpful and great breakfast. The walls are thin so you can hear noise from the next room, but we we're lucky that our neighbors we're quiet during the night

Great location from the train station and buses and walking distance to the city center and the ferries. The room was comfortable and spacious and there was a beautiful rooftop bar. The staff was extremely helpful in answering our questions and storing our luggage the day we checked out. The breakfast was good as well.

Beautiful hotel located within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and waterfront. Breakfast was amazing and although the rooftop terrace bar was only open our last afternoon/night we loved the ambiance of this area. The hotel is quite modern in decor and we were impressed that the room’s electricity turned off when you left the room with your key. Great environmental stewardship practiced by this hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!
