"Great location. Great hotel. Great gym. Unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy the rooftop bar because they were working on renovations. Also, we sat at the tables outside to eat sandwiches one afternoon & were asked to leave even though we were staying at the hotel. I was disappointed how we were treated. "

"What a cute and quaint little property. It’s right in the middle of a block full of shops and restaurants. Very beautiful very quiet, but the staff is incredible. Particularly the breakfast staff. The two ladies were phenomenal. Very caring and very attentive. This property is close to pretty much everything you would want to go and do or see."

"Just had a really great few days here. The location is perfect, the staff were friendly and helpful, the public areas were comfortable and clean and the pool area perfect for relaxing in. Our (seaview) room was spacious and had a huge balcony overlooking the gulf and the port and was perfect for people watching. It was also spotlessly clean and the housekeeping service was first class. There were USB (a&c) ports either side of the beds, ironing facilities and a humongous shower! But (there's always a but!) we were amazed at the absence of tea/coffee making facilities which is a hotel policy decision. We spend over 3 months a year in hotel accommodation ranging from B&B's to 5* hotels and this is the only place where this facility was not provided. (Not worth dropping a star for but worth remembering to bring a travel kettle in future!) That said, the breakfast was great and we managed to survive until then. Special thanks to the reception team who were genuinely interested in your day. "

"The staff and the room were beyond our expectations ... The friendly and VERY attentive wait staff and housekeeping deserve the highest ranking possible. The only two downsides were we were directly below the breakfast area and the floors are a hard marble, so when ANY chair or ? was moved we heard it right thru the floor!! FELT cushions on the chair legs would have been an immense help to quiet the noise transfered to our room. The only other downside was they gave us two twin beds pushed together, and the bed closest to the door had obviously been very well used, and had a noticeable slump in the middle .. causing my back to really hurt after three nights .. I had to switch beds with my wife, and the bed near the window was much better! OVERALL though, this hotel and their view of the ocean was beyond our expectations .. Our best hotel yet in our 5 week tour of Italy! BRAVO!!!"

"Staying at the Continental Sorrento was one of the best hotel experiences my wife and I, from Vancouver, have ever had. Perfect location and great hotel, but what really made the experience great was the hotel staff. From the valet to front desk staff everyone was as professional as they could be. The buffet breakfast was amazing with Antonio being a highlight of our mornings. Definately order a cappucino. You will not regret booking the Hotel Continental. Great location Great Beach. (With complimentary elevator taking you right down) Perfectly kept up Amazing all around Thank You Hotel Continental "

"In the centre of Sorrento. Sitting in the Citrus Grove beside the pool you would not know you were in a busy city. Loved all the tiled floors. Staff were excellent. All very helpful. We arrived by ferry and got a taxi as very very steep hill which most of the town is built on. Left by train which was about 10 min walk to train station, less if u are fit. The bus to Naples airport goes from there too. Train left on time and arrived on time. "

"This hotel exceeded expectations. It is modern, clean and minutes to the main shopping/dining area of Soreento. Walkable to the port for boat tours to the Amalfi Coast and Capri. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Delicious included breakfast with a view. Great value!"
