"Before checking in, I had coffee and beer at the hostel cafe and was waiting to check in. I paid in advance, but they insisted that I didn't pay, so I showed them the receipt, but they didn't apologize and had a bad expression. Overall, it was a good place to stay, but the most important thing was that the bunk bed was too low, so I hit my head on the metal frame several times. "Overall great stay - would definitely stay again The reception staff were so helpful and friendly - gave great advice on which beaches to go to and how to access them The accommodation is literally on top of the main interchange so unrivalled in terms of transport links - we got the bus to San Sebastián The room was fab with fridge, sink etc Some of the sheets were stained which is my only criticism but don’t let that out you off - I’m sure they would have given me fresh ones if I had...

"I liked how easily accessible the property was and how the staff were very well versed in tourist attractions and the like. I was helped by Marta when I checked in and she gave me a map with all the places I’d need to go to or tourist and food spots circled in which was very helpful, as well as the transportation links around the city. I just wish there were more options especially with protein at breakfast. It was all pretty much just toast and baked good but some eggs and maybe some sausages...

"The facilities were much more satisfactory than I expected. I was also satisfied with the elevator, kitchen, and view. However, the bedding smelled like it was not dry and the pillow smelled, so I put on the cover I brought and slept. The pillow cover was fine, but the pillow itself should be washed in hot water or replaced with a new one. Room number 3612"

"This was a highly functional suite with 2 TV’s, European refrigerator, dishwasher, pots, dishes, cooktop, etc. the grocery store is<2 blocks away. Front desk is not staffed 7x24, but they ordered us a cab for non-staffed hours, and it arrived right on time. Very neat and clean. Trendy contemporary decor. We would go there again. There is dining nearby, but it is better about a 10 minute walk to the old city"

"The hotel and my room was spotless, so clean. 5 minute walk from Estacon Intermodal de Bilbao, which is the main bus station, where you can catch busses to the airport and other cities / towns in Spain. (I went on a wonderful day trip to San Sebastian from there). The real stars of the hotel are Javier and Xavier, who work at the reception. They are such kind people, who went out of their way to help me on a regular basis with tips and ideas about what and where to explore, and each night they were keen to hear if I've enjoyed my day. I was so impressed with them. "

Convenience and Conviviality c0me to mind...

"The hotel was very centrally located, the staff, especially at check-in, very friendly efficient and helpful. There are plenty of options for eating and the tram, metro and bus/train station, all are within a 3 minute walk of the hotel. Our stay of 5 days would definitely have us returning a next time when in Bilbao. Beautifully designed as well."
