"Very good view against the Sakurajima island. Exceptional location. Parking fee is 1000 yen per night and it has a pretty big parking lot near the Lawson if the covered parking lot is full. Very good breakfast for about $27 two adults and two kids."

"Check in was smooth and staff were really friendly. It’s an older hotel, but they have kept it updated and fresh looking. The room was much larger than expected, so was the tub. It was a great space. Location was great. Lots of restaurants, shopping and bars. It was a bit if a walk back to the train station, but that gave me a chance to see mire of the city. Decent distance to most sites and attractions. I enjoyed the breakfast, but can see where others wouldn’t. The restaurant space was a little odd as well. Not in a bad way, but in a different way."

"Right off the number 2 street car line, the hotel is in a historic section of town and easily accessible from Kagoshima Central Station. Near a shopping street and 10 minute walk from Waterfront park. Rooms were nice and a great value. "

"Nice hotel and would definitely stay here again. Room was a bit bigger than the smaller sized Japanese hotel rooms l've experienced (especially the bathroom which had a full-sized walk-in shower). Bed was very, very comfortable. Shower had a 'normal' shower head and a rainfall shower too. Good in-room amenities. Nice staff. "

"I loved my stay at this hotel. The location was super convenient, so close to the main shopping district and a 5 minute walk from the trams and buses, or a 20 minute walk to Sakurajima or the train station. The room was comfortable and the hotel offered a lot of amenities, such as extra pillows, a microwave, laundry service, a 'help yourself' style bar for toiletries and teas. There's also a huge collection of manga. The rooms are cleaned every day and you can request not to have it cleaned. If they aren't cleaned, the staff will still leave you clean pyjamas, towels and bin bags for if you need to freshen up your room. The hotel kindly merged my separate stays into one so I didn't have to change rooms."
