"Check in was incredibly awful, 40 mins in 35 degree heat outside because the property owner did not send a valid door code. Ended up calling hotels.com who managed to sort but at a cost in phones, patience and valuable holiday time as well as cooking in the heat. Dreadful check in.... cannot recommend for this reason by itself. Found last occupants' food in the microwave.... otherwise property was ok. Beware, check in appears to be issue looking at previous reviews - avoid... "

"A great, modern little apartment, with everything you need for a short stay. Comfortable beds. We had a ground floor apartment which was a little bit dark and cold for a winter visit, but fine for one night. Ask for upper floor if staying longer. So close to the train station, shops, supermarket etc. Just across the main road."

"Likes: The unit has a very pleasing interior with modern amenities. Access is secure, and is gained by entering codes on touch panels. The kitchen is well equipped. The bedroom is spacious, which was very welcome in Japan. Proximity to the train station and local streetcar station, and to the Sakurajima ferry, was very convenient.
