"We had an amazing visit to the heart of the Loire Valley. This is a beautifully renovated old building in the quaint old village of Larcay. A 2 minute walk to the river or an amazing little restaurant called Les Planchettes. Easy access to Tours and the many castles and vineyards in the area. It feels like travelling back in time but with all of the modern amenities. Thanks to Sylvain and Adele for everything, including the welcome bottle of delicious Vouvray! Highly recommended."

"We loved staying at this little apartment! It was a great value - clean, great features (but NO A/C FYI!), and 1 mile walk to town center. I wouldn’t recommend staying here in the summer though; we purchased fans that helped cool us down at night. Host was great but not as responsive as other VRBO experiences I’ve had (maybe it’s the more relaxed French way?)."

"My family and I enjoyed this house and it was great to be able to appreciate the old architectural charm of the building. The outdoor space was perfect for us and was a big plus. The house isn’t right in the city center but we were able to walk or ride bikes into town very conveniently. The only real negative was the checkin and checkout process as the place where we had to pick up and drop off the key was not close by especially if you were in a rush or didn’t have a car. "My family and I had a wonderful time at this clean and comfortable house. There was everything we needed with many thoughtful touches. The house and property have a lot of history, and the hosts were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The property is gorgeous and the surrounding area has lots to see and do.
