"We stayed at Le Castel for 2 nights during a trip to see the beaches of Normandy. The town of Bayeux is charming and the Normandy region is beautiful! Le Castel is conveniently located in town, and walkable to all the charming restaurants, shops, and attractions in Bayeux. My complaints fall with the lack of accessibility of staff. Nobody is there until 5pm for check in. I messaged the property to request check in at 4, or at least to see if we could leave our luggage, as we arrived by train...

"I had a wonderful stay at this lovely B&B right in the heart of Bayeux. The home is extremely clean, and the owner has an excellent eye for collecting and decorating with interesting pieces. You feel you have been invited into a well-loved French home for a visit. The breakfast was plentiful, with a fresh local treat each day. "Extremely pleasant family running a small, quiet property. Easy parking and a simple, but nice breakfast. From the front door it was a 100 meter walk to the middle of Gold Beach and a 1-2 km drive or hike up to the cliff top memorial over Arromanches. Perfect for our short stop during a self-guided exploration of the historic sites of Normandy."

"We had a great experience there. Our host Vanessa was very kind, friendly and welcoming. The place is beautiful, clean, very comfortable and maintained to a high standard. The pool and hot tub make it even more pleasant. And what a feeling to be surrendered by all those horses. We were lucky enough to go along Vanessa when she went feeding the horses, she took time to explain to us many things about life in the horse-breeding farm. Also it's important to mention how amazing the breakfast was...

"Sylvie and Jean-Michel were absolutely amazing hosts. They are a warm, friendly and engaging couple that love what they do. Their lovely B&B is just a block from the beach where you can walk or ride for hours if you choose. The room was private, delightfully decorated, very clean, and exceptionally comfortable. Sylvie started our morning with a delicious homemade French breakfast complete with fresh fruits, breads, local cheeses, homemade jams, yogurts, crepes, and other delightful treats....

"The Victoria B&B is an outstanding property located close to the D-Day memorial. Our room was immaculate, very quiet, and had a view of the garden. The breakfast was excellent. All the advise we were given about local restaurants, driving directions, and sites to visit was right on target. Thank you Victoria B&B!"
