Staff were amazing, always available to deal with any requests. The food was lovely and at a reasonable price. Old fashion pub with a fantastic choice of drinks.
We have stayed here many times iver the years when visiting friends in Somerset. Its a lovely country pub very comfortable, clean rooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is always good, never had a bad stay.
The staff were all very welcoming and conscientious. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The food was outstanding. The continental breakfast was much more than the usual breakfast provided at hotels and inns. We had dinner there too, which was delicious. The inn exceeded our expectations in every way.
Our stay was fantastic, the staff wete very efficient and friendly with great service 😀

Good service from staff. Very small room and extremely hot.
Difficult to get a good night sleep due to high noise outside at night with windows open.
Excellent breakfast.
Another great stay at one of our favorite stopovers on our way to Cornwall.Always a warm welcome from the super team there.Good food tidy rooms and excellent choice of beer.See you all next time thanks.
Mega comfortable bed, amazing food, friendly staff
A wonderful experience. Booked following reviews from previous visitors and wanting to be near Somerton. We had Room 6 - exceptionally comfortable bed, lovely room, really appreciated the hot chocolate, biscuits and bottled water. Quiet other than the door banging (needed a sock wedged inbetween door and frame!). Booked 6.30pm table and had a most beautifully presented and delicious meal. One vegetarian - only thought was there were only two vegetarian options, mushrooms with orzo (delicious) or jack fruit burger. Mega bonus was the Trivial Pursuit box of questions on each table, we had great fun with those and stayed long enough to make room for desert.
Wheel chair access via function room and we were early so we're able to grab the snug room for my hard of hearing mother in law. We enjoyed the special menu offerings.
Didn't miss a cooked breakfast after we tried the continental breakfast moist honey roast ham and smoked cheddar both finished on the premises. Outstanding flavour.
We received a very warm welcome by the staff. Our room was comfortable, nice view over the garden. We were supplied with tea/coffee/hot chocolate/biscuits and bottles of water. All replenished the next day. Food was excellent, good portions and plenty of choice. The continental breakfast was nice and refreshing.
Charming 17th Century Inn.
The room was clean and comfortable, the staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating.
We initially planned to eat our evening meal on the first night of our 3 night stay.
However the food was excellent and so we eat here every night.
Whilst there was not a full English breakfast, the continental breakfast was great to set us up for the day, with ham, smoked cheese, fruit, cereal and juices.toast and croissants.
We will definitely be back.
