This property is beautiful and remote. If you’re after some quite and natural beauty, you’ve found it. The host was very responsive and helpful, we had a wonderful stay. Planning our next visit.
It was incredible! Such a great spot. I brought my two dogs and they were in absolute heaven. So much room to run and they loved going down to the river. It was a little windy and the neighbor came to check on me. He made sure the roads were clear so I could get in and out. Super sweet! I will definitely be going back!
We loved staying at this home far away from the madding crowd. The road is long and winding getting there but so worth the drive. Quiet nature and vineyards surround you in a beautiful light filled high quality home with everything you need supplied in the kitchen, baths, laundry and outdoors. A wonderful place to idyl away the time or go exploring to historic Plymouth, many great wineries and the lovely Amador valley. The host was superb with all of our contact.
We loved this remote adorable house. Communication with the host / owner was excellent. Recommendations for places to see, restaurants to eat at, wineries to visit, paths to follow while staying at this house was above and beyond what was expected! We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family.
This property is right out of a fairytale. We had an exceptional time sitting on the porch drinking our wine we bought earlier in the day at the nearby wineries just listening to nature and enjoying the peace and quiet. The house is perfectly appointed. Cooking our meals together each evening overlooking the property grounds from the big picture windows was amazing. The wineries are so close and perfect for a quick outing. The creek was pretty dry the time of the year we went but it was still a beautiful adventure getting there and walking the riverbed. I cannot even imagine it's beauty when it's running full. We will definitely be back, probably sooner rather than later. The host was very informative and helpful as well as accessible when needed.
The title says it, it is a very secluded house. We stayed 5 nights and I only heard 2 vehicles the whole time. We absolutely loved the spot and are looking to come back.
It does take some time getting there but we got used to it. Its location is close by several wineries and we fell in love with one and even brought back 10 bottles.
The house has everything you would need and in fact it was fully supplied compared to other rentals we have stayed in. That was a pleasant surprise.
The only thing we thought from the pics was that the river/creek was straight down from the backyard but definitely not a deal breaker. We did make it down to the creek and it was quiet and beautiful.
Communication was excellent from the beginning and they gave us quite a few suggestions which we used several. But on the check out side, there wasn’t any. The only message we received was that “it looks like you have departed already” which we were still
there. No thank you you or anything,
Overall if you are looking for a quiet secluded spot with great views, this is it. It definitely was what we were looking for and would recommend it to anyone.
We appreciate them letting us stay in their house and would definitely come back.

We spent our 12th Anniversary in this heavenly location in a great house with amazing views an extremely helpful homeowner and property assistant. What a wonderful long weekend and very much enjoyed this home.
I will start with the experience before our arrival. The homeowner was very helpful answering all of our questions and even took the extra step of providing recommendations to aid us in planning our anniversary weekend. Taking these extra steps was amazing and helped to make our weekend even more special, so appreciated.
Now for the house and property, amazing.
We were a bit nervous about finding the home on the back roads. However, the homeowner put out concerns at ease by providing good directions and having the assistant show us the way to the home on arrival. Once you have done it you discover how easy it is to find your way around. Do not let the location prevent you from experiencing the home and it's amazing location.
The home itself is just perfect, beautifully designed home with everything you need to have a wonderful time. We arrived to a clean home that was ready for our dream weekend. We were able to make some amazing meals thanks to a great kitchen with all the necessary tools. The living room was perfect with spectacular views, enjoyed relaxing and playing games in this room. The master suite and bath were perfect with the same great views. The second bedroom was perfect for two kids with twin beds. The house is perfect for a couples retreat or a vacation for a family of four.
The property is just heavenly and secluded which was fantastic. We enjoyed our walks in the morning, enjoyed the patio area with it amazing views, enjoyed the peace and quite of this wonderful location. The bocce ball court was a very nice touch and everything needed to play was provided.
We very much enjoyed this wine region, it is a beautiful place with some great wineries. This was our 3rd visit to the area and have enjoyed it every time.
We had a great wine tasting experience at Iron Hub on their patio with spectacular views and great service.
We had lunch at Helwig Winery with a wonderful view of the mountains and vineyards. Then enjoyed another great tasting with excellent service.
Our anniversary dinner out was at Taste in Plymouth which is our second visit, always outstanding.
Amador County wine region is a must visit and this home is the cherry on top for any vacation.
Thanks to the homeowner and her assistant, it was great.
Like the description stated, it is a ways from the main road, about 25 min on a small winding road. We felt very safe as you drive through 2 private gates to arrive at the property. The house was nice with nice views of lots of trees and the mountains. The 2nd bedroom has no closet so could not hang up any clothes. The kitchen had everything that was needed but the microwave was very dirty. It needed a good cleaning. We had to clear the dishwasher upon arrival as it was full and had not been cleared. The patio was very dirty. We had to sweep the patio floor and wipe down all the cushions before we could use it. We also washed the outside of the bbq-dirty as well. Some of the landscape was nice though a weedwacker is needed for some of the weeds creeping onto the patio. The fountain was a nice feature but we needed to keep filling it with water as it probably has a leak. We had fun playing on the bocci court and playing card games in the evening in the living room. No TV but we did not miss it all. Good wi-if. We woke up to the birds singing. Enjoyed the views from the patio and a walk around the property with views of vineyards. This is a nice property, it just needed some added TLC.
