BEFORE YOU BOOK PLEASE READ
From November 1- April 15 please be aware that the Utah Department of Transportation and Town of Brighton rules about canyon travel require snow tires (3PMSF) or chains to make it safely up the canyon and to the home. Snow plowing is provided by Solitude and is intermittent. Cottonwood Lodging does not have control over snow plowing. Please plan to check in by 8pm to avoid unplowed roads if it is storming and note that this home can accommodate ONLY 1 vehicle.

Powderhorn Suite is managed by locally owned and operated property manager Cottonwood Lodging Company where the guest experience is most important. For information about the area and other services offered by Cottonwood Lodging please see our website.

This suite is located on the 3rd floor of the Powderhorn Lodge at Solitude - just a few minutes walk away from the Apex Lift, as well as Solitude Village restaurants like Stone Haus Pizzeria and the Thirsty Squirrel.

The cozy living room provides a space to gather 'round the gas fireplace and watch a movie or enjoy a board game after exploring Solitude all day. The kitchen is stocked with appliances and tools that allow you to prepare a satisfying meal when not dining at one of the nearby restaurants, while the dining table and breakfast bar provide seating for all guests. All new vinyl flooring has recently been installed to give the space a more up-to-date look!

Reliable WiFi and access to Club Solitude's heated pool and hot tubs are two more amenities our guests will enjoy. The building also houses 2 communal laundry rooms just a quick elevator ride away.

With one King-sized bed in the primary bedroom, one Full/Twin bunk in the recessed "nook", and a Queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room, Powderhorn Suite provides the perfect space for a family or group of 4-6 to take full advantage of Solitude Resort and have a cozy retreat to come home to just off the slopes!

The condo was very comfortable and convenient with ski lockers. The Cottonwood Management company was great when I made a request regarding cookware. It is well equipped and we were able to have six people total at dinner one night.

Amazing place. So close to everything lifts, resturants and the village store. It snowed plenty and we were worried about the road. After looking around the property we realized we could walk to anything we needed. Park the car and enjoy. 10/10

Excellent stay!
This place was wonderful for our family. So very comfortable!! Only downside is there’s no guardrail on the top bunk (it sits below the top of the mattress), and my 7 year old is still one to fall out of bed. So, she slept on the bottom bunk with her sister. That worked fine for our family, but may be an issue for another family.

Perfect location for skiing
We enjoyed our stay at Powderhorn suites in the Village at Solitude ski resort. The location could not be better. Just steps from the lifts and steps from dining options and a great hot tub, outdoor heated pool and fitness center. The condo was a bit dated but had everything we needed. A bunch of overhead light bulbs were out in the kitchen and dining room but the facilities guys came out quickly and replaced them. Overall a great experience and we would stay their again.

Good size space and furnishing, except bed too short for 6’ 5” son, but that’s to be expected. Convenient to slopes as well as bars/restaurants. Practically “ski-in” if you are lucky. Only complaint is that the floors are very cold and there is a no shoe/boot policy. Next time I’ll bring my really thick socks. Also, request real card keys at Checkin if possible. Not a fan of the digital key that only person has on their phone.

At the very first when I arrived, I had a very hard time to find the front desk. So I had to check in with the Solitude Lodge Front Desk and they sent me to a different hotel with wrong room type. I had to spend 1 hour on the phone with Expedia and Vibo to find out what happened, and the whole property offered zero help. After I checked out from the wrong room and check in to the correct room, I found the TV was broken, half of kitchen lights were broken, no counter top light ( basically I cooked in the dark for three nights). The DVD player does not connecting to the arc properly, and the Wi-Fi broken during the middle of the night!!! The maintenance guys came only once and made a lot of promise they never accomplished. The Wi-Fi broken during after hour and they said I have to wait until next morning for the service. And they never came. Very disappointed experience. Do not recommend this please.

The garage parking, baggage cart and an elevator made carrying luggage, groceries, etc. easy. The unit itself was very clean and spacious. There was a nice deck off of the living room. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, cleaning supplies, etc. The space definitely has not been updated. The building we stayed in was having the roof replaced and the first day (when we were there)there was the constant hum of an air compressor for the nail gun. Under our deck there was a big blue tarp and our view was of the dumpster where the old roof was being thrown out. All of that was gone the 2nd day. I would stay again if I needed to be in the area because there are not many other options and would recommend to a friend with the information above.

We were literally steps from the Apex lift with access to three nice restaurants just outside the door. The property was a home away from home. The living area was comfortable and the kitchen was sufficiently stocked. The bathroom was nice and very well stocked with more towels than we needed. The property had one real bedroom and a second sleeping area just outside the bedroom. The second sleeping area was comfortable and convenient, but was more open area than bedroom. It was next to the bathroom and adjacent to the kitchen. My first criticism is that the dishwasher was loud and made sleep difficult in the open area. Better to run the dishwasher when no one is trying to sleep. My second critique is that we had to pick up our key a half mile down the hill (before we reached the location) literally next to some mailboxes on the side of the road. Seemed strange—but we found it. More positive than negative. Definitely would stay there again.

Beautiful Retreat
The unit was extremely clean and comfortable. The communication from the property manager was amazing. She sent numerous emails providing any and all information about the unit and area that you could possibly want. We will definitely stay here again.
