"Stayed at the hotel on my last night in Stavanger as I was leaving on an early morning flight. It was about a 10 minute walk from/to the airport terminal, fine in dry weather but wouldn't have been great in adverse conditions. The room was of a high standard although the view included a cemetery. Dinner was of a good quality but although I ate relatively early the kitchen seemed to close part way through my meal and I had to go and stand at the till in order to pay the bill. Good breakfast...

"We enjoyed our stay, and the very central location, with several restaurants, a new Irish pub, and the Christmas market metres away. Staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. The "julefrokost"was plentiful with a wide array of traditional Norwegian Christmas dishes. "Very much unstaffed at weekends and evenings. We had an administrative problem while checking in (we were told the wrong key safe), which whilst fixed was only an issue because the hotel is not staffed. We also only recieved a single pillow and duvet for two of us, but didn't try and resolve it as there wer no staff to talk to and we'd already had to ring once to check in. It was clean and well located for the port. Parking was good, and the bus route goes past, but does not stop outside. "
