"I really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars but felt it wouldn’t be fair. Here is a detailed review: hotel reception and facilities all get 5 stars. The restaurant has good selection of food options and quality is high but they charge 4.5 euros for tap water so 4 stars for the restaurant. I understand that this happens in Austria but in such up market hotel I expected better. They were generous with fruits and we found apple everywhere. The cafe was brilliant after ski. Peter who served us twice was fantastic. We ordered ham and cheese toast and beer and it was amazing. He is friendly and helpful. 5 stars go to the cafe for sure. Spa was amazing and choices of saunas and swimming pools and also sauna program by Rita was amazing so 5 stars there. They also have nibbles at the spa which is great. We didn’t try the massage service but prices seemed reasonable. The ski hire and storage were well organized and super convenient so definitely 5 stars. Sheki at ski hire was super knowledgeable and helpful. Rooms were also good and comfortable but one issue and that is what super hot. So it gets 4 stars. Room cleaning was prompt and amazing and two issues we had was fixed immediately so 5 stars there. Overall a pleasant hotel which we loved and enjoyed our time"

"- not clean, dust and dirty floors - can hear neighbours blowing noses and foot steps - not enough hot water, cold showers - no latches for security, cleaning staff walked into our unit startling our young children on our last day! - cleaning staff yelled at my children for being 5 mins late, this is unacceptable - management will talk back, they are condensding and not accommodating - no soap, not enough towels - do not use bread service, it's not accessible - parking is very tight, garage drains don't work - positives, nice design, nice kitchen, towel rack is heated - pillows are uncomfortable "

"Very friendly staff and a good spot to be away from the choas and party life down in main Solden. This hotel exceeded all expectations with the staff being the best part. Ive noticed recently that hotels saying "ski in ski out" is becoming a loosely used term. Edelwiess is a true ski in, ski out place. "
