"Great rooms. The restaurant was one of the best we had visited and so was the wine selection. The surrounding area included a supermarket, pharmacy, park etc. and all were less than a 5 minute walk."

"Wonderful staff and the best breakfast we experienced at this price point in the whole of our Sardinia holiday. On booking in we were upgraded to a suite (probably to accommodate the many motorcycle and pedal cycle group tours that use the property). The suite was overly large for 2 people, was musty smelling, very dark and overlooked the road with no pleasant view. In retrospect we should have asked to see this room before accepting the upgrade and felt that we should have been notified in...

"A modern, thoughtfully designed property on a hilltop overlooking Nuoro. The front desk staff went out of their way to be helpful with a small problem that I had. The rooms were modern and comfortable. One issue that we found everywhere in Sardinia is that the rooms don't have enough electrical outlets, making it a bit of a hassle to charge personal devices. "A charming boutique hotel, well vacated to main square and restaurants. Simple continental breakfast, very responsive staff. Bathroom was small but adequate. No English TV"

"Not a four star hotel. Pictures suggest enchanting luxury hotel set in a beach location but reality is starkly different. Room was clean but small, no tea/coffee facilities, television reception poor and monitor was desktop size, mattress was foam (very uncomfortable), aircon poor and shower door damaged."

"Lovely situation, overlooking the river and with restaurants and shops in the street just behind. Staff were not very friendly - reception was very businesslike and the cleaner complained at 9.10am that we were still in the room and would not be able to come back later to clean the room! Staff at breakfast were very slow to respond to our requests. No parking outside on a busy street, so we had to drop our bags off and look for parking elsewhere, which worked reasonably well. An oasis with delicious food and wine

"My son enjoyed our stay in this calm oasis in the middle of nowhere. We actually just stayed put for the two nights and went nowhere. Enjoyed the pool. My son loved playing with the cats. The set dinner included in our stay (a fish and a meat option) was amazing on both evenings and their own wine was very enjoyable. I was disappointed we couldn’t buy any to take home. Would definitely recommend this place and would next time take a trip to the coast as beach is meant to be amazing. "

"What a fantastic place is Sas Abbilas. A pearl we happened to find for our work in the surrounding. Beautiful nature, the woods and the little river. A fantastic family that takes care of you with tasty (for us vegetarian) food and lots willingness to make your stay a happy one. We will definitely come back!"
