"Once checked in a good stay. Comfortable room and good location. Problem with check in was that I was expected to do it remotely, sending a copy of my passport by WhatsApp, which I declined to do. The person I had been speaking to then contacted his boss who then came round, checked me in properly and was friendly and helpful."

"This is a lovely building in a great location! Thank you for letting us enter so late. Staying here really made our night great after experiencing a horrible flight delay. We checked in and went out for a bite which was just a few steps away and was a wonderful experience in itself. We slept comfortably and had everything we needed. I hope we can come back to Malta and stay at your lovely hotel again in the near future."

"Beautiful boutique property on a lovely street and a magnificent sea view. The host was splendid, friendly, helpful, and very kind. Breakfast each morning was provided by in a charming dining area. I was on the 4th floor, and the street below had shops, restaurants, a beautiful waterfront park, and even a street musician playing beautifully Friday evening. Loved this place."

"Very strange place with no customer service. Not sure it belongs on hotels.com as it is more of a self serve room in a hallway of 6 rooms. No person on site to greet you, rooms very spartan without even a drinking glass. Hard bed, decent linens. But the location was perfect for making connections between the ferry and the train. "

"This is a B&B not a hotel. So self check in. Info on access to the room should have been sent earlier. I had to ask for it by phone while waiting at the front door. Info was sent in WhatsApp. You really just need the door code (same for all doors), so ask for it"

"It was very pleasant and enjoyable. Our host was exceptional, she actually came and picked us up and took us to the hotel. And in the morning she took us back to the train station which is where we pick up the ferry. Absolutely unbelievable. Nothing to say but very very good things. An exceptional stay. "It is very noisy at night ( Friday ).The bar next door plays loud music with people drinking in the street until 2am.!!!! Finally they go home at about 3am. It is such a shame because everything else is so good. I can not recommend it for this reason."

"We spent a week in this apartment and found it an ideal base for local outings, including Taormina and Etna. Forza d'Agro is a bit like a hill-top Sicilian St Ives - all tiny alleys and steep streets and stairs, with excellent restaurants. The chocolate museum was pretty original too! The apartment is well-equipped and clean, with a lovely terrace giving the most amazing views along the coast and across the valley to the mountains."
