"The main castle and grounds were beautiful. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The pool/sauna area was very nice, but we were unaware there was an additional charge to use the facility. The rooms we stayed in looked nothing like the pictures shown on Expedia and were not actually located in the castle. They were clean, but extremely small and very plain. "This is the fifth time I've stayed at this hotel I find it cheap and good. The TV is a decent size the rooms are cleaned every day the bathrooms are quite large. Tea coffee is available in the breakfast room whenever you want it. The staff are friendly and nice"

"From the outside you wouldn’t expect much from this hotel, but the pleasant girl at the front desk and the size of the rooms made this one of our favorite stays during our 10 day trip. The dining room was open all night with drinks and snacks! The room was huge with a large bathroom as well. Beds were very comfortable. "Very basic, no frills. It should, I feel, be made clear that you need to bring your own bedding and towels as by the time you've paid to hire these you could have stayed somewhere a lot better! You're also required to clean before you leave. Chalet clean enough apart from bathroom being rather smelly. "

"Unterkunft ruhig und sauber. Handtücher und Bettwäsche gut. Idyllische Umgebung. Ungenügend ausgestattet mit nur je 2 Gabeln, Messern, Tellern usw. Kein Toaster. Keine Fliegen- bzw. Mückenfenster. Im Wohnzimmer nur ein dünner heller Vorhang. An sonnigen Tagen sehr warm. Nicht so schön. Ein grosses Ärgernis ist der Ventilator im Badzummer ohne Fenster. Die Abluft läuft über ein dickes Rohr durch das gesamte Schlafzimmer und der Ventilator sofort an, sobald das Licht im Badezimmer angeht bzw....

"Loved staying here, it felt like a posh youth hostel, we never had to wait to use the bathroom and while it was basic, everything was clean and comfortable. Lovely location, breakfast was in a hotel run by the same people in the town which was a 5 min walk away but not a problem at all, the breakfast itself was great (lots of vegan options) and the staff were so friendly. "

"Vistelsen på Värdshuset Eklunden var en ren njutning från början till slut. Personalen gjorde ett oerhört intryck med sin värme och professionalism. De var alltid tillgängliga för att se till att varje detalj av vår vistelse var perfekt. Rummen var smakfullt inredda med en känsla för komfort och lyx. Sängarna garanterade en god natts sömn tack vare högkvalitativa madrasser och sängkläder. Utsikten från rummet var andlös, och inramade det vackra landskapet som omgav värdshuset. Måltiderna var en höjdpunkt – frukosten och lunchen serverades med stor omsorg och använde sig av utsökta råvaror av högsta kvalitet. Varje rätt var en fest för smaklökarna, vackert presenterad och med smaker som balanserades perfekt."

Best staff with large clean rooms!

"From the outside you wouldn’t expect much from this hotel, but the pleasant girl at the front desk and the size of the rooms made this one of our favorite stays during our 10 day trip. The dining room was open all night with drinks and snacks! The room was huge with a large bathroom as well. Beds were very comfortable. We were leaving early in the AM and were going to miss out on the free breakfast. The same girl who was at the front desk the night before was also there in the morning making everything for breakfast. She was amazing and actually gave us some food before we left. She was truly the reason this experience was so good!"
