Best motel in Texas!
Best motel in the state of Texas! I stay there every time I’m in Snyder and it’s better than any place around. You will not find a better room than at the purple sage!

Can't beat the price. The room was clean and comfortable. It's an older place and definitely not the Ritz Carlton, but I will stay there again. Staff was friendly, place was quiet. No pool though.

I have stayed here usually twice/year for past 6-7 years. Always feel welcomed, and very safe, as I most always travel alone with a car full of stuff. Very easy access, great parking, friendly owners, comfortable rooms.

Rough outside but room nice
I was hesitant about staying here looking at it from the parking lot but went ahead based on a friends recommendation. Glad I did. A little dated on the outside but room itself was very nice, clean, and very quiet. Check in and out was easy and quick. Friendly staff. Phenomenal price. Would stay here again.

I stayed here for one night on my way through town, and would definitely stay again. Check in was easy, and the room was clean and as pictured. There’s a bit of road noise at night, but nothing that can’t be solved by running the fan unit or some ear plugs. Coffee, cereal, toast, and a few fruits available at the breakfast. Nothing fancy, but enough to get you going.

Clean room. Door didn’t lock without deadbolt in room. Hot breakfast is a stretch. Had some breakfast cereal, a few yogurt, some packaged pastries, and frozen waffles in freezer. Would I stay again? Probably not.

Rooms are very dated but some have apparently had bathroom renovation. Area in front of motel is very noisy; door had daylight coming through edge. Floor was sunk in on one spot. New TV. Clean and for the price it was ok. Rooms in back section were quieter. Cute gazebos under trees are nice for sitting outside

Front office check in staff was less than helpful. I was pulling a trailer and asked for a way to get around to our room. He kept telling me to take a route that was blocked by other vehicles and said it’s the only way to get there. This morning I see a road that was accessible. Very disappointed

What a cute cozy little place! We're used to staying in cheap motels across the country so we keep our expectations in line with this price range. We were blown away. I've never seen a motel bathroom so new and clean. Small room but perfectly cozy with everything you need, even a desk and 2 comfy chairs, a smaller fridge AND a full fridge, and most importantly - the most comfortable bed and softest sheets and blankets, it seriously reminded me of staying in a 5 star hotel. (And I've paid 3 times this price for uncomfortable beds and scratchy sheets!) The front desk is just gorgeous, so many plants it's like being in a little jungle! This place has so much character. Staff was very kind and accommodating. From the outside it looks like your basic run of the mill motel but what you actually get is miles ahead of any motels across the country I've encountered within this price range. This place is a gem in the rough and I hope to get the chance to come back sometime.

Never again!!
I don’t know how this place has good reviews, but do not trust them. I normally stay in a different hotel when I am in Snyder and I wish I would’ve stayed there again this time. We decided to try this one because it had good reviews and was a little cheaper. That was a huge mistake. The bed was so hard and terrible, the pillows were terrible. The sheets and towels are scratchy and cheap. The carpet & comforter was dirty. And when we arrived, it was over 90° and they didn’t even have the AC on, so we had to take our dogs and go drive around and wait for the room to cool off enough just so that we could stand to be inside. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Had to leave because doors wouldn’t lock on two rooms they put us in and bad chemical odor and my 80 year old husband has pulmonary fibrosis and it wasn’t 15 minutes and they won’t refund our money that we paid for two nights. Don’t use this place. Says only owner can do and he’s out of town. We learned a hard lesson in time of not being able to stay in our house because of a water leak.
