Like - the location is great, staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, restaurant food was good Dislike - understaffed, valet is overwhelmed, elevator is very slow (waited 10 plus min and ended up taking emergency stairs a lot), hall ways are very long if your room is at the end, air conditioner/heater is too loud.

If you’re going to visit Aspen, stay here. Great for beginner skiers. Very small, intimate area with local shopping and dining. No reason to go off site for much. Free and convenient access to downtown Aspen if you want a change in scenery.

Our room staff never replaced coffee or tea- I would go to the front desk to pick it up. Also, please replace the motel style mini wall blow dryer with proper full size blow dryers. The coffee make is a very poor design to get hot water (to make tea)- it splatter water everywhere.

The staff was friendly. The room was very nice. My only complaint would be that the towels were dingy and the robe had a stain on it. I would suggest for them to get better laundry supplies or replacing the towels more frequently. Other than that I enjoyed my stay. But fyi bring your own towels

The surroundings are beautiful! The problem was mostly through hotels.com not at the resort. The only issue was a very loud a/c fan. We had to get a box fan and open the door. Glad it wasn’t snowing

We had some issues at check-in and were double charged. I am waiting for some of it to fall off our credit card like I was promised. Lobby and bar area is great. Outdoor amenities such as the pool are dated, but overall we had a nice time as a family.

Aspen Music Festival
We came for the music festival. the valet when we arrived was super helpful. We were on the 6th floor, so you have to go up a few stairs, but he helped us get all of our luggage, chairs (for the festival), etc. up the stairs and into our room. Wonderful place. Loved the fact that the hotel property is right on the ski run. Tons of dogs, which we love. Loved the place and how friendly, helpful and attentive all of the employees were. We'll be back.
