Cozy couples retreat, dog friendly, 1 block to ocean or sound

Quiet street 1 mile from north end of North Topsail, across street from the St. Regis. 1 block or less to public beach access and public pier/dock. Queen bed, spectrum internet and 15-channel cable package, wall-mounted TV that can rotate to watch from bed or sofa. Kitchen has the essentials including coffee maker, toaster and stock pot for your shrimp boil. Outdoor space equal to three rooms -- front and back deck, choose sunshine or shade. Under the house is completely screened in with ceiling fan, new couches for a nap, minifridge and shower with hot and cold water.

In short, the place is small but has everything you need for a cozy couples getaway.

Dog friendly, with 4x8 kennel in the screened in breezeway and 2 crates available for inside. (Pet fee $20/night. Please check box under number of guests when booking.)

St. Regis has top floor restaurant/bar and the open-air Tiki Bar is a short walk and features local characters who will welcome and entertain you!

Check out our other North Topsail property VRBO# 4229885. It's 3-BR, 2 bath, very reasonably priced in the offseason. Great views. No pets though.

Great Stay
We had a wonderful stay! The property was clean and had all the amenities we needed (including a crate for the dog!). It was a super convenient walk to the ocean and a quiet neighborhood. We particularly appreciated the screened-in porch area underneath the home, which allowed us to enjoy the beautiful weather without getting eaten up by the bugs. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thanks again for the great place to stay and for allowing dogs.

This cute little place is almost like a studio with a full kitchen and bath. It’s about a 5-10 min walk to the beach and Luke was super responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed our visit and already plan to go back!

Stayed here with my 2 dogs and the place has everything you need for dogs, the kennel was great and the walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes. The only thing I would bring to someone's attention is if you have an older dog there are a lot of stairs to access the beach, my dogs loved it but were exhausted after 2 days.

Best beach house so far
I stay in a lot of different places on different islands around North Carolina. This place was awesome. It has everything you need and the washer and dryer is very convenient so you don’t have to pack a lot of stuff. The downstairs is nice for game night. I brought my dog and he loved the beach. My nine-year-old had a lot of fun. The beach is close. I will return next year and book for even longer.

In Town for wedding
My husband and I attended a wedding at the St. Regis. This place was literally right across the street and it was so convenient to just walk over to the venue and walk back after the evening was done. Also, very short walk to the beach with easy access. We found the place very clean and we had everything we needed. They had many amenities that we didn’t get to enjoy, like a grill, because our stay was short. Overall, great place to stay.

Sweet and relaxing ocean getaway
This unit was quite charming and was just what was needed for our weekend getaway. The unit was clean and a very short walk to the ocean. I loved that it was dog friendly with a crate already setup and ready to use. Even though we did not get a chance to use, the outside downstairs area was awesome! Had a sectional, tv, dog kennel and outdoor shower. I would certainly stay here again.

I was surprised to find a studio, not a one bedroom, but it was a cozy place with everything you need. The host was great at responding. I didn't use the downstairs at all (it was a bit chilly for that) but it would be a great place in the summer as well.

Perfect place to stay
A wonderful place to stay. It is the perfect place for couples. The walk to the beach wasn't bad at all. The neighborhood is beautiful and pretty quiet. We enjoyed the outdoor sitting area under the house. It's got bugnet run all the way around so it was pleasant sitting out there at night. I would definitely recommend this property to others!

My husband and I had such a nice time that we decided to rent this property again. It’s a nice studio-esque home that is a short walk to the beach (5-10 min) with a small kitchen which was great for us to cook with. Luke is very nice and I hope we can stay here again in the future.

Really loved staying here. Lots of space to hang outside. The beach was just across the street. Pet friendly. The host was great at providing everything we might need. Coffee and spare toiletries provided if you forgot your shampoo. It was in a quiet neighborhood. Excellent communication before we ever arrived. I would definitely stay again!

Unmatched hospitality
Luke’s place was perfect for a couple. We would definitely bring our dog next time we come because he has thought of everything you would need to have your pup along. He has also thought of everything for us as well. Anything we could have needed was there when we arrived including snacks and drinks. We really loved our evening under the porch listening to the waves in the screened in area. We only wish we had had more time to enjoy it!

Lovely location for you & your pets!
Luke was excellent at communicating with us about our stay. We even got the privilege of meeting him upon check in. Location is about a 10-15 minute drive to the major stores/restaurants but there are a few local spots sprinkled along the path that were great. The drive was beautiful and worth it. Everything was so thought out, not only for us but for our dogs as well. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk and chairs and beach items were included so it was super easy for us. We had neighbors with pets on one side of the home during our stay but we were pleasantly surprised how sound proof our space seemed, we didn’t hear a peep out of them. LOVED the space under the home, we spent a ton of time there and used the outdoor shower with ease. Would seek this space out if we return to the area in the future!
