One thoughtful touch that stood out was finding an Easter egg filled with Belgian chocolate in our room—such a perfect gesture for the holiday weekend. I would absolutely recommend staying here. Just a small note: in our room, the toilet was located downstairs while the sink was upstairs. It wasn’t a major issue, but something worth being aware of. "

"You couldn't wish for a more central location in Ghent with soundproof rooms. There is secure car parking <250mtrs away, which is pricey but you are in the heart of the city. The hotel has a super eating area for breakfast and numerous other seating areas including a sun terrace for when you tire of walking. You are even overlooking an ex royal palace and gardens, which would be impossible anywhere in the UK. "
