"I booked this hotel seven months in advance, primarily to watch the Giro. When we arrived at the hotel, we found it was closed for the season. We missed the Giro and had to scramble for a room. They wasted a day, and the primary purpose, of my vacation. Then it took me a month to get my money back because they apparently ignored Travelocity's attempts to contact them. The owners of this hotel are scum, and you would be foolish to rely on Travelocity when they tell you that the room is booked and...

Hotel staff told me that our room could be available from 3pm and it was their choice when it would be available - it took me getting rather frustrated for 10 minutes before they said that they apologised. The hotel had a wedding booked so the restaurant and bar were closed. The hotel staff messaged me ahead of time to warn me, but I didn’t receive in time.
