"A smallish unit with a quaint system of access to some amenities. Liz, the hostess, goes out of her way to provide everything and ensure comfort. We liked the homely, non clinical atmosphere. No smell of commercial cleaners, everything spotlessly clean, nevertheless. We were very comfortable with the rather informal and basic amenities. The bathroom is apparently quite new and very flash! Trying to work through BookaBach is just a pain; we could not contact Liz until AFTER we had booked! "

"Nice location short walk to the Estuary and quiet street.We could also take our wee dog.Lucky for us the house upstairs was empty so no banging through the ceiling but unfortunately our stay was not quiet….the house close behind was building and huge trucks were coming an going non stop and using the beach house land for all the vehicles (though plenty of room for our car) nobody’s fault the neighbours were lovelyJust doing major renovations before selling their property."

"We were so happy with our accommodation. Our room was spacious, very clean & modern and so comfortable, and was the closest to beach front. Felt very spoilt. There was a private balcony with outdoor furniture inviting us to just sit and relax overlooking the most beautiful view of the bay and Tairau on the opposite side. And we did. Just magic! Tairua is a short drive away with cafes and shops. A very pretty town between mountains and the bay and sea. Awesome walks on the beach just steps...
