"Beautiful beach and area, for a small place Hahei has a good selection of eateries and one great fine dining restaurant...The Church, great place on the Cormandel peninsula...would have stayed longer if I had known! Beach bungalow had everything we needed and was well stocked."

"This stay was brilliant. I came over for emergency purposes and was greeted, chatted to and welcomed with such kindness and care. The room was beautiful, cosy and so clean. Smelt divine and had all sky channels for your leisure. The best part really was the owner and how beautifully warming welcome and accomodating she was. A great sense of humour and made the stay so wonderful I will be come back tomorrow before I fly home! Highly recommend "

"Beautiful grounds, worth a stroll. Challenging driveway. My check engine light came on so I am losing a day at the mechanic. It is very steep, your car will probably be fine, mine is very old. Twin room has one window which is at the entrance of another room so choose between privacy and natural light. Had issues with mosquitos, light switch near only one bed which doesn't have a nightstand. Overall beautiful property with a challenging room (twin), the other rooms seem better."

"This was a lovely unit with a great back garden where we could eat our take away dinner outside. The facility provided beach towels, a shovel (for Hot Water Beach), is convenient to the beach, and the bed and cushioned window seat were great. The chief complaint was there is no sink, other than the bathroom sink, in which to do dishes. A bathroom sink is not really a sanitary solution for dishes. We hope that the resort owners take the dishes used in any unit and run them through a dishwasher...
