"This house is so much nicer in real life! The photos don't do the main kitchen/living room/dining room area justice. And the views ... no matter what the weather ... were mesmerising. You don't go to West Cork in Ireland in January for the weather, but in the 7 days we were there we had everything from 2 days of storms, 2 days of clouds, and then topped off with 3 days of spectacular blue skies and no wind. "This is a pretty, clean, well-stocked house on the lovely Sheep's Head peninsula. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need, and the TV has Netflix. It's only a short walk to the beach, hiking trails, two restaurants, and a general store. The general store only takes cash. We had a wonderful time walking many miles in beautiful, remote surroundings. The only caution I would give is that there is very little taxi service and only one bus, so plan to bring a car if you want...
